According to several sources, Falcons QB Matt Ryan has formally been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.¬† This is a big benefit to the Eagles, especially since Michael Turner is pretty banged up too.

It wasn’t pretty, but if my recent memory serves, there were complaints that this team was incapable of stepping up and winning these types of games late.¬†

Nearly everybody says the Eagles have no chance of doing anything if they reach the playoffs this year.

Stephen A. Smith was just on 610-WIP giving plenty of reasons why the Philadelphia 76ers should sign Allen Iverson.  He believes Iverson and the Sixers need each other.

I critcize the Eagles as much as anybody, but I try to be fair about it. I think many of the critics are being unfair at the moment.

Sending 165 pound DeSean Jackson over the middle through all of the head hunting linebackers and safeties finally caught up with the Eagles.

For the second week in a row, the Birds did a good job of staying with the running game.

The Eagles two featured rookies, LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin made big plays with the game on the line to help the Birds win their seventh game of the season.

The defense must play better than they did today for the Eagles to have any chance of getting to the playoffs and having success.
