He says the deal hasn't been signed and I'm starting to agree with him.  ProFootballTalk.com is very convincing when they say the following update.

PFT UPDATE: After some conflicting reports on whether Dawkins had done a deal with Denver, we're told that he finally has signed a contract to join the Broncos. 

Fox 29 here in Philadelphia says Dawkins has signed the deal but I don't think he has.

Notice that ESPN.com, NationalFootballPost.com,  NFL.com have nothing up about the transaction.

From what I understand it could still happpen but it hasn't happened yet.

We will have to wait and see what happens tomorrow because the Chronicle went on to say that he's going to be inroduced on Saturday.

It was reported that Dawkins has signed a two-year deal with Denver in a shocking turn of events.  Obviously the Eagles didn't value him as much as the Broncos did.  

From what I understand, he wanted a two-year deal and the Birds weren't able to give him more than a one-year contract.

It's going to send shockwaves through the city and its fan base and it's going put a lot of pressure on the team's front office.

Many believe that Dawkins is the most popular Eagle and a future Hall Of Famer and I concur. 

What is going to be the reaction and the explanation from the Eagles? 

How do you let a guy who Andy Reid said he wanted back, leave town like this?

I can tell you that somebody said something or did something that ticked him off.  I heard he was very emphatic about saying he was going to test the free agent waters.

The person he said it in a way as if he had been challenged.  

The Eagles bluffed Dawkins and he called their bluff.
