Sapp Is Arrested For Misdemeanor Domestic Battery Charge

Sapp was arrested at the Surfcomber Hotel by Miami police.

The network released the following statement.

"We were made aware this afternoon of the arrest of Warren Sapp by the Miami Police Department. In light of these circumstances, Warren Sapp will not appear on NFL Network while we review the matter."

Earlier in the week, a civil suit was filed in Florida against NFL Network host Michael Irvin, which accused him of rape.  Irvin was fired from his job with a ESPN radio station in Dallas, but will be on the air this weekend for the NFL Network.

Sapp dancing This is getting ridiculous.  Both of these guys have had great opportunities and it's a shame that they're embroiled in these controversies.

I don't know that they're guilty, but what in the world is going on with these dudes.

Both of them have been on Dancing With The Stars.  They both have been making big money working multiple jobs and reaping the benefits of their Hall of Fame careers.

Sapp has been working for both Showtime's "This Week In The NFL" and the NFL network.

I thought Michael had cleaned his life up and I hope there's nothing to the suit.

It doesn't look good because it looks like his lawyer was negotiating with the young lady who accused him.

As for Warren, I spent some time with him earlier in the off season and congratulated him on how he was doing.

All I can say to them now is, find you a good women, marry her, then take your butt home and stay out of the street.

This has got to stop.

I dont want to see all the Mcnabb haters commenting on Sapp....5 is a role model , a good man and stays out of trouble but hears more crap than anyone of these A Holes.

Wait how does 1 guy get a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and get kicked off the air while another guy on the same network gets accused of RAPE and gets on air?

Sorry but that doesn't make any sense. Neither has been convicted yet so they're both in the same boat legally but Irvin's accusation is MUCH worse IMO. Not to demean domestic battery but rape is rape. If your kicking one guy off both should not see air until things become clearer.
