After a report earlier in the week saying that Sheldon Brown would miss the Bears game this week, Eagles defensive coordinator Sean McDermott indicated that Sheldon would actually play.¬† “He says he’s going to play; we’ll just have to see,” he said.
If Sheldon can’t play, then Dimitri Patterson would start in his place.¬† I’m thinking that Sheldon Brown on one leg and two arms missing is a better play than Patterson.¬† Not to rag on Patterson, but Sheldon is simply on a different level, especially this season.¬†
How long he’s able to play remains to be seen.¬† It doesn’t take much to tweak that hamstring again.¬†¬†
He’s currently listed as day-to-day.¬†
