One of our GCobb.com readers believes tight end Ben Watson will be the difference in the football game and he may be right. Watson is a tremendous receiver and capable of dominating a game.
From Jerel,

The Super Bowl will show how a dominant tight end can win the Patriots another
ring. I am a huge Ben Watson fan, he is second only to Antonio Gates in
recieving ability and also an elite blocker. Watch the game and you will see
#84 is always on the field no matter what the offensive package is. He can help
to block a defensive end (not being mentioned in the media) and quickly slip out
and beat any linebacker down the field. He basically allows the Patriots to
double team both Osi and Strahan on every pass play if he stays in to help the
tackle. This will help slow down the Giants pass rush and we all know getting
to Brady is their only chance to win the game.
Once the Patriots get a big lead they will start to run the ball and watch how
well Watson helps to open holes.
I think the Patriots will put up a big number of points and outscore the Giants
in the Super Bowl and Tom Brady will win the MVP trophy. He will accept the
trophy in a spotless uniform thanks to another workman like game from Ben
Watson. Watson is both a great athlete and terrific football player (ran down
Champ Bailey 2 years ago to save a TD).
The Eagles LJ Smith isn't in Watson's league, LJ is just a great athlete
playing football. I haven't expected LJ to be an impact player for the last few
years. This being said I probably would franchise Smith because the cap number
is acceptable and the Eagles have to have an athletic tight end. I can only
wish to have a player like Ben Watson wearing an Eagle's uniform.
