According to Todd Zolecki on Twitter, the Philadelphia Phillies have placed pitcher Ryan Madson on the 15-day disabled list with a busted toe. This is just perfect timing since Brad Lidge was just activated.

The Eagles said they were looking for speed and not size in the draft and that’s definitely what they got. I was amazed to find out that I can look down at all of the picks that I got the chance to talk to.

The Philadelphia Eagles just announced the  signing of new starting quarterback Kevin Kolb to a one-year contract extension through the 2011 season.
Scout.com reports that $12.26 million dollars of the deal is guaranteed.
