Slow Down On Romo’s Superstardom

I'm checking out the replay of the Dallas Cowboys versus Seattle Seahawks playoff game on NFL Network and I  can't believe how poorly Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo played.

I'm not talking about him dropping the field goal snap, I'm talking about being totally ineffective when operating from center.

Don't forget the circumstances, the Seahawks came into the game without four of their top six defensive backs.  They signed some guys off the street during the week before the game.  The Cowboys came in with Terrell Owens on one side and Terry Glenn on the other yet, Romo struggled the entire game.  Dallas scored 20 points and they got 7 of those on a kickoff return.

I think Romo got into a situation where he was trying to make a big play every time he threw the football.  He got into the habit of holding the ball in one hand, then being undisciplined while looking downfield for the next touchdown throw.  Right now Romo is running all over the country and being treated like he's a legitimate Superstar, but he remember he only played well for about five games then he took a dive.

Like Parcells said they need to hold off making the Hall Of Fame bust for Romo.
