Michael Vick Pleads Not Guilty

Michael Vick Pleaded Not Guilty – Trial Set At November 26th – Michael's attorney Billy Martin said that they're going to prove that he is not guilty.

G. Cobb On WIP –  July 26th Thursday Overnight 2am-6am, Monday July 30th 11pm-2am.

Does Upshaw Still Represent The Players?

I understand that Michael Vick has been accused of committing some awful atrocities but what is up with Gene Upshaw the Executive Director of the NFLPA.  He's supposed to be serving as a representative of the players, kind of like a lawyer.  Could you imagine a lawyer coming out and saying something negative about his own client?  Upshaw while sitting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, starts talking about how he's a dog owner and how bad the charges are against Vick.  He said the accusations were awful which is true but that's not his job.  He was talking like a prosecutor which he isn't.

Hello, Gene is supposed to represent the players.  Upshaw went on to say, "Personally owning a dog and being a dog lover myself, there's nothing worst than what he's been charged with."  Nothing worst?  What about Ray Lewis being accused in a double murder?

I know and agree that these charges are awful but Leonard Little of the St. Louis Rams killed a lady but is still playing in the league.  I don't agree with PETA that an animal's life is of the same value as a person's life.

If your representative can't say anything good then they should say anything at all.  Gene Upshaw made $6.6 million dollars for representing the NFL players but he's not doing his job.
