ESPN Is Trying To Do Too Much

From Mike McDaniel
You did an article a while back about your distain for ESPN and its programs. At the time I didn't completely agree but then came the lackluster football reports I've been seeing lately.

I was watching NFL Live as they broke down the Eagles after the the Ravens PRESEASON game and not only did they only show the very worst parts of Kolbs performance & the cheap shot on Sav Rocca but stressed how DEVISTATING the loss of our fourth string, soon to be cut or traded RB Ryan Moats was going to be. Then I watch  NFL Total Access yesterday and  Marshall Faulk is talking about how losing McDougle was a major hit to our line because our sacks drifted after HE went down last year, what?!! I realize that these guys have a lot of teams to cover but, it only takes a minute to check a depth chart. Credibility out the door, I can only watch thoses shows for the highlights not insight.

Mike,

I thiink they're trying to do too much.  That series about the Yankees called "The Bronx Is Burning" is about the cheeziest television movie I have ever seen.  They put old game footage together with stuff that shot in a studio, it's terrible.  I don't see how anybody could look at that.

Tony from DC

Hey G,

The Redskins fans have to be the most clueless fans in the nfl. They have no clue about the game of football all they say is the eagles have no players and no super bowls. I have never ever seen a fan base that stays in the past.

Tony,
The Redskins fans have to live off of past success because they're lost right now.  That football team has no chance of doing much this year.  Joe Gibbs is still on their sideline but the game has passed him by.
