McNabb’s Days In Philly Are Numbered

It won't be long now that Donovan McNabb is ushered out of the city.  He will go to another city and his legs will come back.  He'll probably be playing in the west coast offense even though he would flourish is a down the field throwing offense with speedy receivers.

I have heard for awhile now, about the way the Eagles brass likes Kevin Kolb's grasp of the quarterback position.  They love his smooth accurate delivery.  He was going to have to wait until the time things went sour under the direction of Donovan McNabb and it looks like that time is here.

Yes even a blind man can see where this thing is headed.  Donovan McNabb won't remain a Philadelphia Eagle after the season is completed.

He doesn't say it publicly but he feels he's been abandoned by the Eagles organization which has failed to get him big-time weapons.  He's got a legitimate complaint when you look at the mediocre guys he's had to work with.   Unfortunately he didn't make a point of demanding that the Eagles go out and get more weapons for him when he had the leverage to do so. McNabb's legs and ability to buy time for his receivers have covered up the absence of Super Bowl caliber weapons but the lack of them has been uncovered while he's been battling back from knee surgery.

Don't be surprised if McNabb's agent Fletcher Smith demands the Eagles either extend McNabb or trade him.  I could see McNabb winding up in Minnesota with his former offensive coordinator Brad Childress.  There are plenty of other teams in the league who have quarterback problems.
