Grass May Not Greener Without McNabb

Heads up Eagles fans, this might be a quick snap shot of what life will be like after Donovan McNabb heads else where.  Getting rid of McNabb doesn't mean you get Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.

Who knows what Kevin Kolb will do once he gets behind center? You'd better be prepared to be patient.

We may wind up with A.J. quarterbacking next season.  What's that seven interceptions in two games?  I wrote quite a few times last week that Feeley had better be more protective of the football against the Seahawks.  You can't take that many chances and not be burned.  The guy could have easily thrown 6 or 7 interceptions in each of the games he's played.  He's throwing the ball up for grabs to Greg Lewis with two guys running step for step with him. This is why A.J. has been a bench warmer for most of his career.  He made too many mistakes in Miami and every where else that he's been.

Somebody explain to me, how a guy like Feeley, who's so much more accurate than Donovan McNabb, can complete less than 50% of his throws.  A.J. completed 19 of his 42 throws.  What it says to me is that the Eagles wide receivers don't get wide open.  You're going to have to constantly throw the ball into tight areas when throwing the ball to them.  His quarterback rating after the game was 30.  Here's a guy who's supposedly suited this offense, yet for the second game in a row, he begins with an interception and he finishes with an interception.

I told you about the Eagles plan to trade McNabb.  Well, I know the Birds top brass have got to be getting the shakes. If you put together too many of these types of games, sponsors may be thinking about jumping from the Birds ship so they can sail with the Phillies.  Which team looks more appealing to you?
