The Top OT’s In The Draft

This draft is deep in quality offensive tackles.

The guy who is regarded as the best offensive tackle in the draft if Michigan's Jake Long.  He big strong and athletic.  This kid has been looking at video of Jon Runyan finishing a play because he beats people up.  He wears number 77.

Ryan Clady out of Boise State might be a better athlete than Long.  He's need to refine his technique but he's got a trenedous up side.  He wears number 79.

Jeff Otah surprised quite a few of the scouts with his workouts at the combine.  Otah is big, physical and will probably wind up at the right tackle position. He wears number 76.

Chris Williams of Vanderbilt is very ahtletic and ideal as a left offensive tackle.  He's got the speed and quickness to block the unbelievable athletes who play right defensive end in the NFL. 

He needs to get stronger but that can be done in a weightroom but he has the athleticism to play left tackle. Williams wears number 74.

Boston College's Gosder Cherilus is a big monster.  He's not the athlete of some of the higher rated tackles but he is powerful and tenacious.  He's probably a right defensive end.  He wears number 77.

Carl Nicks of Nebraska is another huge tackle who rates on a level close to the others in this group. He wears number 77.
