The spygate controversy is now over but it smells.
Who was the source of the story about there being a tape of the St. Louis Rams walk through practice before the Super Bowl? It makes no sense of a story being that specific but having no source.
You can tell the NFL and it's big partners wanted this to go away and now it's gone away. I don't know any more than anybody else about this specific situation but the commissioner didn't want to look into it to begin with. He had to be prodded into an investigation because finding something in the past does the NFL no good.
The don't want to find something that happened in the past but they want to make sure to prevent anything that happens in the future. I can understand their perspective.
