On June 4, the Eagles held their annual Playground Build
at William Bryant Academic Plus School. I got impressions of some of the players from one of my moles who was in attendance. Here are some observations:
“Donovan looks happy, healthy, and big.”
“Sheldon was hanging with Asante, and Sheppard was a no-show.”
My note: Wow, he didn’t even show for the charity event?
“Look out for Max Jean-Gilles this year. He looks like he dropped some
weight, but remains a mountain.”
“Bunkley looked like he wanted to eat something, or someone.”
“Dawkins was his cool, calm self, but he is starting to look old
compared with the crop of new faces. As is Jon Runyan.”
“On film you don't really recognize how big Stewart Bradley and Chris
Gocong are.”
“Greg Lewis continues to just look very ordinary and wander around. How is this dude playing pro ball?”
Just thought I’d share those few notes. Thanks again to the Eagles and all of the artists who participate in this great event.
