McNabb On WIP Pointing Fingers

On Friday evening Donovan McNabb was interviewed on 610-WIP by Howard Eskin and he made a fool out of himself.

He was on the radio talking about how the Arizona Cardinals were afraid of letting him and the Eagles offense back on the field, so the Cards were running the ball in order to run out the clock.

He was talking as if the Eagles offense never got the chance to get back on the field and win the football game.

I don't know if he saw the same game as I did, but McNabb and the Eagles offense got back on the field and were stopped because of not being able to gain ten yards in four downs.

They didn't lose the game because of lack of time, they lost it because they couldn't get the yardage.  McNabb threw four consecutive incompletions and the Birds was the end of their chances.

The Eagles quarterback was emphasizing that the offense had put them in the lead 25-24, in order to point the finger at his defense.  He needs to sit down and take a look at a replay of the game before he talks about it again.

The Eagles defense shouldn't be pointing the finger at the Eagles offense, but McNabb has no reason to point the finger at them without also pointing at himself.

I do get tired of people trying to blame McNabb for everything, but the answer is not pointing fingers at your teammates.
