Ingram Suffers A Knee Contusion

Today at the OTA workout, Eagles rookie TE Cornelius Ingram suffered a knee contusion to his left knee which is the one which he had surgery on last August and it caused him to miss the entire college season.

They believe he will be fine tommorow and able to practice.

He was checked out by Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder after the mishap and then he went inside.

The young tight end was running a seam route against a two deep zone and veteran safety Rashad Baker attacked the ball and collided with him.  The throw hung in the air too long and that allowed Baker to get to it.

Baker came down with the ball and Ingram lay on the ground for a while.  After 30 seconds to a minute, he got up under his own power and walked gingerly to the sideline.

Once he got there, Burkholder took a good look at his knee.  After a few minutes of doing that Ingram got up and walked inside.
