Giants fear Vick

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, the Giants are very concerned about the presence of Michael Vick on the Eagles.

While Tom Coughlin says it was a complete coincidence, the Giants were working on their Wildcat formation defenses the day after Vick signed with the Eagles.

"They have so many more options in there now," defensive end Justin Tuck said. "How do you game plan them now? Obviously we've got some time and we'll figure it out, but it definitely gives them options and it's going to keep every defense on their heels."

The Eagles will get to use Vick twice this year against the Giants, as he will most likely be reintstated by the time they face them for the first time in November.

"Everybody knows what kind of athlete he was before the incident happened," defensive end Mathias Kiawanuka said. "If he's anywhere close to what he was, it's definitely going to be a challenge, because you have to prepare. You have to spend a little extra time preparing for what you think he might do. And we've got to be prepared for everything."

But they aren't just afraid of the Eagles with Vick, they are also proud of the franchise for making such a brave choice.

"As far as Philadelphia is concerned, it's hard for me to say this but I'm proud of that franchise," Osi Umenyiora said. "That was a big step they took. A lot of people didn't have the (guts) to make a move like that. But they did. As much as I hate to say this, because I've kind of been bred to hate that franchise, I'm happy for them. I think they did a good thing."

Fear not, Giants.  If the Eagles o-line keeps playing like this, it won't matter who is back there.
