McNabb Should Take All The Responsibility For Loss

McNabb runs from defendersDonovan McNabb is an 11-year veteran who has played in many playoff games and a Super Bowl.  He is respected and looked up to by his young teammates.

He’s both a leader and hero to them as well as a teammate.

For that reason, I didn’t like it that after the game McNabb was talking like a politician by speaking out of both sides of his mouth at the same time.

He first took responsibility for the loss and poor performance then he talked about how they showed how young they are.

He said it a few times that they showed their youth.  He was pointing the finger at his young teammates for making too many mistakes.

That’s like our politicians who say they’re saving money while spending trillions.  That’s double talk.

McNabb getting sacked Come on man.  The youngsters made mistakes but he made some too and  if he wants them to play for him on Sunday which is really all that matters now, then he’s got to show some leadership and take the hit.

Most of the critics are going to blame him for everything any way.

We know it wasn’t all his fault but now everything is about rebounding and finding a way to win on Saturday.

It doesn’t matter if they dropped balls and ran bad routes, McNabb is the veteran who is going to be blamed for it any way.

So he should do the smart thing and take the hit.   All  he should talk about on Wednesday is his mistakes and poor plays on Sunday in Dallas.  He should say, I’m the guy to blame for the poor performance.

That will give the youngsters reason and motivation to give him everything they have on Saturday.

Deflecting the blame isn’t the answer.
