Former Eagles, Rams and Chiefs head coach Dick Vermeil told Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan of Sirius NFL Radio that he doesn’t expect the Birds to trade Donovan McNabb.
Vermeil even talked about a recent conversation he had with Reid.
“Yeah, you know, there’s a lot of rumors in regard to that but I talked to [coach] Andy [Reid] before he went to the owners meetings a week ago and it really didn’t sound that convincing that he was going anywhere to me,” Vermeil said.¬† “I mean, he didn’t just say he’s going anywhere he said they’ve got some things going on but I’ll be surprised if he leaves Philadelphia.”
I don’t know how honest Andy was being with him.¬† I’m starting to think he’s history here in Philly.
