View Of Cowboys Draft Board Shows Us Disagreements With Eagles

Jerry Jones was being the ultimate promoter when he let some cameras into the Cowboys draft room.  In the process he let everybody know how the Cowboys had prominent college players rated.

You can see that they didn’t agree with the Eagles on most of their picks.¬† They had Birds number one pick defensive end Brandon Graham rated as a second round selection.

They agreed on the next Eagles selection.  Dallas had the Birds second round pick, safety Nate Allen rated almost exactly where the Eagles grabbed him.

Defensive end Daniel Te’o Nesheim who the Birds grabbed in the third round, the Cowboys had listed as a fifth round pick.

The two teams agreed about Eagles fourth round selection tight end Clay Harbor.

The Cowboys didn’t think much of quarterback Mike Kafka.¬† The Eagles got him in the fourth round, whereas the Cowboys had him rated as a seventh round selection.

The truth of the matter is that teams rarely agree on the playing ability of players.¬† We’ll have to wait and see who was right.

It’s interesting to see that list. I wonder if it’s their real list. I think the Eagles were very smart trading the second round pick to load up on more picks. I just question were they picked up Nesheim and the Lindley (Kentucky CB) kid. I wished they picked up Ghee (CB) in the third and Wooten (DE) in the fourth.
It’s nice to see Harbor on the Cowboys list. There is always questions about a teams pick, but this draft should have given the Eagles some players on special teams. They have athletes and Bobby April was as big a pick up as any player in the off season.

Doesn’t matter Dallas is a 3-4 team so they’re not going to like guys that Philly sees as a fit in their version of the 4-3. Would mean more if they ran the same schemes.

Who cares what Jones thinks? I hope his surgically altered face falls to his knees.

Dez Bryant plays offense…but I don’t have to tell anyone…we’ll soon find out when this guy take a slant to the house. who are our top safety and 2nd corner again? Hey, wht happe to Considine? I thought he was the heir apparent to dawkins? When are we going to learn not to get overly excited abot the Eagles draft? The guy that did pan out they won’t pay.

G, I see you didn’t mention that they had Tyson Alualu as a first round pick….I don’t think that was on purpose.

Seriously Songs, your whining gets old. A little bit of your act goes a long way. Will you be any happier if the Eagles are terrible this year, just so you can say you were right, and that you are smarter than the whole organization? If you are so certain that they are doomed to failure, don’t watch, divorce yourself. You sound like a Cataldi wanna-be, if the season does not yield a Super Bowl victory, then it was nothing but wasted time, and you want somebody to be held accountable, punished and ridiculed. You are the definition of a resident of “Negadelphia”.

Perhaps Dallas doesn’t realize that we have the best roster in the NFL.

Oh Song, you can rest assure that the Eagles hate you as much as you hate them. Oh, and by the way, while you were busy posting, I took a message for you – your hate called and said that it hates you because you hate to much. Hater.

It is like comparing apples and oranges as for each team needs.
