Dallas’ Williams Says He & Romo Have Been Connecting Like Montana & Rice

I know the NFL busted last year’s NFL Rookie Defensive Player of the Year Brian Cushing for violating the league’s substance policy but they need to test Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams.

He’s got to be under the influence of some type of drug to be talking the way he has been.

This dude thinks he’s going to convince everybody that he is a good receiver by talking like he is one during the off season.  I have made it a point to say that the Eagles young offense needs to stop talking work hard and prepare then show everybody how good they are during the fall.  I would say the same thing to Williams.

Here is what he had the nerve to say:

“You know, last year around this time we were throwing and catching and it wasn’t very good,” Williams said about his work with Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. “Just to be quite honest with you, we were missing balls, and bad throws and drops and all that in the offseason that carried over to the season”.

“But this year, we’re connecting like (Joe)Montana and (Jerry)Rice. It’s night and day from last year so I know we’re expecting big things for both of us.”

This sounds like somebody who is getting no sleep at all at night.  He’s probably worried about the drafting of Dez Bryant, but talking isn’t going to solve his problem.  His talking let everybody know how scared his is of losing his job.

Are you kidding me?  What do say if you’re Romo and they ask you about this nonsense?

It’s too bad that Williams isn’t the Cowboys number one receiver.
