Michael Vick Is Supposedly Hosting Another Party Tonight In D.C.

I know you’re not going to believe this but somebody is using Michael Vick’s name to throw another “All-White” party tonight in Washington, D.C.¬† I’m not kidding.¬† It’s supposed to be taking place at The Park at Fourteenth which is located at 920 14 St. NW W. DC.

Can you believe it?¬† Another “All White” party involving Michael Vick is being promoted.¬†¬† I don’t know if Vick is attending and I don’t know if he even knows about it, but he’s got to be out of his mind to have anything to do with any more night club parties.

The Eagles might have already made a decision to get rid of Michael Vick but if they haven’t Vick surely isn’t helping himself.¬† Somebody from his team of representatives and legal support should make a statement about tonight’s event.

There’s no way he should have anything to do with this event.¬† Is this guy losing his mind?¬† How he could he ever get any where near a party at a night club after what happened a week and a half ago?

If this party is legitimate and Vick is allowing somebody to use his name then he is a foolish man.

“Give it a rest already”. Starting to sound like tabloid gossip here, who cares by now… I don’t believe Vick is that stupid unless the so-called event is supposed to be sponsoring cancer or something etc. I’ll wait until the FO makes a decision before I worry another minute concerning MV.

G, I am not complaining, or telling you how to run your site, I want that out in front. Can you just write us a story about what it was like playing with Seth and BE, Reggie etc? Something about Buddy maybe? Just a lil break from M Vick, I am sure you are as tired of writing about him as we are of hearing about him. Maybe something about what you expect from this year’s linebackers? Anything G, help us out, please. I know it is a slow period for the Birds and you have to write about what is there, but I feel like I am drowning in Vick. Thanks.

He has been “hosting” or a listed guest on the invitation for 5-6 parties down in Virginia since last January. Last week was not a isolated event. The January party invitation listed Lesean McCoy and Macho Harris celebrity guests, I hope they now know to stay far away from the continious Michael and Marcus Vick party scene. If this is Vick on the staright and narrow, what was he like in his Atlanta days? He just doesn’t realize billion dollar football teams can only host charity events, not late night parties to make money for his brother Marcus.

C’mon Philly Will…

Some lyrics from the song “Werewolves of London” by Warren Zevon from the late 70’s…
I changed some words around to add you into the song in replacement of the Queen…

” I saw the Werewolf drinking a Pina Colada down at Trader Vic’s…and his hair was perfect….”

I thought you said you were a Philly Local….

Give him a break on the song, it was before he was born, however, it is a classic from a Philly guy.

They (76ers) were a great team to watch and cheer for back in late 70’s/early to mid 80’s…
once Coach Billy C left, they were never the same .. Toney/Cheeks was a phenomemal backcourt..
To Triple Well,
Send Lawyers,Gun & $$$$… what an great album that was and still is… I got to meet Zevon at Rutgers
Camden in 1980/1981 and he was drunk as a skunk…I volunteered for the “Campus Activities Board” which would hold 1 decent Concert every Semester on Campus.. We usually got Philly Bands for they would cut us a deal on their rate to play for us. ( Hall & Oates,Todd Rundgren, Robert Hazard & the Heroes, The Hooters..) We would party with those guys before and afterwatds.. Lots of fun memories
back then…

I actually just came back from Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago recently, Eric Clapton puts on this show in different cities every year. While there I saw Cesar and Hildago of Los Lobos play at the house of Blues. While I wasn’t working my vendor booth I got to see some Yardbirds (kinda) with Clapton and Stevie Winwood playing about 5 songs together, Winwood going between keys and Geetar. Vince Gill, Buggy Guy and Bill Murry dressed like Elvis….on the bus back to the hotel I look in the back and realize I’m about 3 seats away from Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeski (sic, I know) what a great week!

Actually it was in Toyota Park where the Chicago Fire MLS team plays, funny thing is it’s about 40 min from O’Hare apt where we flew in from but only about 10 or 15 min away from Midway but we couldn’t get a direct fight in or out, had to change in NY for some reason. Oh, and anyone flying soon do not fly American Airlines…they just plain old suck. It’s like flying in a cardboard box. And their planes are so old my seat still had the ashtray in the armrest…
