Andy Reid talked to the media today and for the first ten to fifteen minutes of the news conference he got questions about Michael Vick and Michael Vick alone.
Reid admitted that Vick had made a mistake by being in the wrong place at the wrong time when the shooting occurred but he went on to say that he hadn’t broken the law.
The Eagles coach mentioned numerous times that Vick was a “very nice person”.¬†¬† He tried to end the Vick conversation by saying he was going to get into the details but the reporters refused to stop asking questions about the team’s backup quarterback.
Reid said that it’s important that his¬† first and second round draft pick, Brandon Graham and Nate Allen get signed and into camp.¬† According to Reid every play they miss will move them further behind.
Andy said he’s excited about the unknown which lies ahead for this football team because they don’t have the known qualities of McNabb and Brian Westbrook on the squad.
