Sixers Take Apart Rose-Less Bulls

Well, that was the most fun I had in a very long time with the Sixers. Man, I am fired up!! Obviously, the Bulls not having Derrick Rose helps a lot as well. The Bulls have played extremely well without Rose all year going 18-9 during the regular season though. Listen, you are going to hear that the only reason why the Sixers won was because Rose did not play. If they lose you will hear, I can not believe that they can’t beat the Bulls with out Rose.

I really do not care either way. That was fun as hell. Of course I would rather beat the Bulls with Rose in the lineup and it would make the win sweeter. That’s not going to happen now. Any win in the playoffs no matter who is playing is a good win.

The best part of this game was that it was Jrue and Evan leading the way. Doug finally said, “go a head boys, just go out and play.” Something he should have done from the start of this season, by giving the KEYS to this team to the young guards. Another great part this is that did this on the road in a hostile place. Say what you want but Chicago is not an easy place to play even if Rose is not playing. Sixers came out of halftime down by 8.

Their first half defense was just awful. They made John Lucas look like Rose out there. Iggy seemed like he did not feel like playing.  Lou was the one making Lucas look like an all-star in the first half.. Though the second-half might have been the best I have seen the Sixers play in ten years. Sixers tightened up their defense and rebounding began running the Bulls out of their own building, by out scoring them in the second half 62-37.

Jrue was getting anywhere he wanted on the court and did what he wanted. Every time that Evan touched the ball he was booed. I guess he likes being booed by his home town fans. He was completely unfazed by it. Jrue finished with 26 points 6 assists and ZERO turnovers.
Evan finished with 19 points 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Thad was being Thad having a solid game. Iggy decided to wake up and get out on the fast break. That is what he does best.
Lavoy Allen? Say what? There is no way in hell that anyone saw that coming. What a lift the rookie gave the Sixers. Lavoy had 11 points and 9 rebounds in 26 minutes. Not sure if he will ever do that again but what the hell. He was really good for one night.

I only have one little thing that bothered me about this game. I am nitpicking. I know I am. I just did not like the fact that Doug went to Lou again in the fourth to close out the Bulls. He runs that dumb ass 4 corners, where Lou tries to break down his man while everyone else stands around. I really hate that. Lou got a ton of garbage points tonight.

This was ET and Jrue’s game. They were the reason why they had that lead and they should been the ones with the ball in there hands in the 4th. I am tired of Lou’s act.  I cannot wait to say good-bye to Spencer Hawes as well and it was good to see Jodie Meeks on the bench were he should be. I do like Meeks but Doug makes me hate him because the way he uses him. OK, I will stop bitching now. LOL. This game was too much fun to keep doing that.

Was that statement by the Sixers? I say, yes. At least for one game it was. Bulls are a good team and most likely will make adjustments for Game 3 on Friday night in Philly.  Are the Sixers going to win this series now? Not sure. The one thing I am sure of is, if they played anything close to what they did in the second half it will be interesting. Rose or no Rose if you watched this game you enjoyed it and you know you did…

The Sixers will win this series against the Bulls and will be playing in the second round. Just like the Heat will be winning the series against the Knicks. I see it before it happens. I guess its a gift i have.. haha.. But in all seriousness, the future of this team lays in the hands of Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner, maybe Thad Young as well. I dont see brand returning, Iggy may be a goner too and Iam hearing thru my elite sources that Lou Williams plans to opt out of his contract and become a Free agent, but im okay with that because there are plenty of Lou Williams in the league, coming out of college, hes a one trick pony and im sure we all agree with that, hes a scorer and thats that. Alot of changes coming this off season, but as for this season lets just enjoy this playoff ride because this will be the last time this current group is together.

Where are all the ET haters? Nothing to say now huh? Didnt think so… I dont wanna hear that he sucks and is a bum and should be traded or we should of drafted cousins. (where is cousins right now? At home, he didnt lead his team to the playoffs) So get off that. ET has emerged as the leader of the team, and Jrue is right there with him. SHOWYALUV!!!

@Jon Hart. Are you serious? He stinks. He cant shoot and he acts like a little bitch after every play. If I have to watch him whine to the ref 1 more time Im gonna puke. You really gonna take credit for a team that lost its leader than lost the lead because its emotional leader Noah went down? Are you serious? Come on man. lol Wanna see what a # 2 pick looks like. Dont compare him to Cousins next time. Compare him to the guy in Oklahoma. He was a # 2 pick also.

A Win is a Win is a Win, but boy, was that an ugly game from an offensive point of view.. Why the Bulls stop getting the ball to Taj Gibson is beyone me.. He had about 10 points in the 3rd Quarter and rarely touched the ball again in the 4th.. Great comeback by the 76ers led by Hawes,Holliday,Turner and Williams..
(Was Iggy even playing in the 4th???) but we have to b ehonest, the Bulls gave this game and probably the series away..
I watched Thadd Young a lot in this game and was totally unimpressed, he can’t do anything with his right hand, a poor shooter and doesn’t use his body well enough to creat positioning fo rrebounded… He stands around too much..
But all in all a 2-1 Lead is better than a 1-2 deficit but looking the other teams in the Playoffs, I Sixers are going to have to improve their Front Line Scorng and Rebounding in order to be able to compete (HAwes scores personal high of 21 points but about 12 of those points were from outside jumpt shots) Elton Brand was off trh emark, L Alled takes nothing by 14-16 feet jump shots..

Another shout out to my sixers who are ballin out of control! Another big huge great win! Jrue hit 2 gigantic 3s in the 4th quarter 20pts 8 rebs 6assists,hes a monster… Spencer Hawes has come alive 22pts 8 rebs today after coming off a 21pt game, Iggy had 14pts 12rebs.. Our team is gaining steam and confidence, and i dont wanna hear that there was no rose or noah, you still gotta play the games. Were not throwing a pity party nor would the bulls if they were in our spot, BTW Iggy has a sore achilles.. But again we have to play the rest of this yr out and see how far we can go, i think we will meet up with the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals and then we ll go from there… But in the meantime, SHOWYALUV!!!

Iggy finally helped in closing the game out by hitting some huge free throws in the guts of the game. All these big shots and wins are helping this team build on the confidence they already have and it doesnt hur that they have a great coach by there side pulling the strings, and the assistant coach Michael Curry who is the defensive architech of this team has done a marvelous job of having these guys in the right place and if there not he definitely lets them know about it.. I like all the coaches they have, aaron mckie, brian james, jeff capel, theyre very good tough nosed guys that are no nonsense, but have that balance because most if not all played in the NBA and know about the highs and lows of being in the league and playing this game, they all are perfect fits for this young team.. SHOWYALUV!!!

Iggy had his best all around game of the Series and Holliday came thru with a big 4th Quarter.. Not sure this 76ers Team has enough Offense to beat the likes of the Cels who they most likely will face in the next round.. Hawes has been great but his scoring is motsly from outside jump shots and the 76ers still need some consistent scoring from inside and I don’t think Brand/Thadd Young can provide enough of it but I am happy the 76ers are doing well and haven’t gotten to the 2nd Round of the NBA Playoffs since 2003 so any Victory is an improvement here on out.. .

We have a chance to make it to the Eastern Conf. Finals now……thank goodness for the injury to Rose, not personally, but for the benefit of my team.

It’s going to be tough to beat the Celtics but there’s absolutely no chance we beat the Heat in the EC Finals soooo……

And now that i’m reading comments on this status, wtf are you talking about Jon Hart? You still looking for a reason to suck on a players nuts? Evan Turner is GARBAGE. His game showed it today. He might show a flash of being a good player every once in a while but so did Stromile Swift.

Again, ET is not LEADING anybody. Jrue and Spencer Hawes are the stars of the playoffs so far for the Sixers.

It’s the Heat and my sleeper team, the Pacers, who are probably the only Team who can beat the Heat in the East due to their size and depth along the FrontLine in HIbbert,West,Hansbrough & Granger along with 6-6 Guard Devon George who can match up with Wade and LeBron from a size point..
