Thursday Night Football Pick

daltonMy Overall Record: 78-42

Cincinnati @ Miami

The Bengals have been playing some excellent football.

Andy Dalton has caught fire over the last couple of weeks, and has finally started to put up some big numbers.

Their defense has anchored them to a lot of victories, including wins over the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady.

They should be able to force Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins into some turnovers, and come away with another win.

Pick: Cincinnati 27, Miami 17

Miami Dolphins made a huge mistake taking Dion Jordan. Their Offensive line situation has reached defcon 5 level. They should have went Lane Johnson or DJ Fluker. Danny Watkins is on the roster, LOL.
Their center Pouncey is an Aaron Hernandez’s character witness being called to testify in a murder trial. Richie Incognito has a microscope on his play by referees with 2 yellow flags in their pocket, one for Richie and one for the other 23 players on the field. Bryant McKinnie was kicked off the Ravens roster for being the NFL’s worst teammate now he their starting LT. Starting RT Jonathan Martin had a nervous breakdown and is AWOL after a lunch room prank.
Bengals 45 – Dolphins 6

All true E0S. The Dolphins are a mess. I look for a blowout too by the Bengals.

The Martin prank is just crazy. It reminds me of Shawn Andrews a bit. Sounds like the guy had issues playing, or rather his desire to play. I feel bad for the head coach down there, he was in Green Bay and his son died just before he was hired in Miami. I think the whole organization is a mess. Their President Mike Dee left and went to the San Diego Padres, he has a baseball background with the Red Sox and others. The owner is also known to get into the middle of things, so the fact that they are having trouble this year is not a surprise.

Dolphins needed to resign LT Jake Long
RT Jonathan Martin has been a Bust for the Dolphins after being a High Pick coming out of Stanford a couple years back (A 2nd Round PIck at 42nd Overall) .. I remember a lot of Pre-Draft talk that the Eagles were Very High on him as Martin was considered a mid 1st Round Talent but slipped down as the Draft got closer.. I also remember stating to stay away for Martin for he was mentally weak, had a questionable work ethic and simply just not mature enough for the NFL after he Declared himself for the Draft after his Junior Season at Stanford.
Martin was picked to be Jake Longs Replacement at LT and is barely holding onto playing RT with the Dolphins..

Andy dalton couldn’t start in this town, his stats over a longer stretch are not as good as foles, he is much smaller, same slow foot speed, but he is a damn good young quarterback

I am hoping that foles takes the decision out of every prick’s hands of who should be the eagles starting qb by lighting it up for the rest of the season, its a heavy and unrealistic burden to place on a developing qb , but that’s the only way he will get his long term shot in this town
