  • Jake Diekman threw a scoreless seventh.
  • Justin De Fratus mopped up with a scoreless eighth.

Final Thoughts

Kyle Kendrick has been brutal recently.

Kendrick has allowed four or more runs in eight of his last 12 starts, and its been a real struggle for him to pitch effectively.

Kendrick is on his way to one of the worst statistical years of his career. He’s already suffered 10 losses, which is just three away from a career-high of 13 that he set just last season, and his ERA is dangerously close to the 5.00’s.

In July alone, Kendrick has an ERA well above 6.00.

Time for GM Amaro and get some Prospects
And Re-build for Future Seasons
The Braves are loaded with Young Talent
As are the Marlins and even the Mets when they get some of their young arms back next Season… Phils have very little left in the Tank and with their core Players of Howard, Utley, Rollins, Ruiz, Byrd, Lee, Adams & Papelbon, Kendrick’s on the downside of their Careers
Time to clean house, play the young guys and see what you have for the a Future

I think it is time for Ruben Amaro to go and dump Howard what ever it may cost or bench him for rest of the season he is just stealing playing time from some young player..I blame Amaro for these problems because he sold all of our decent prospects .I think it will take at least 2 or 3 years to rebuild .So hang in there Phillie fans its going to be a while before the Phillies will be in contention for for the playoffs.

None of the players the Phils previously moved have amounted to anything. Cosart could be something but the rest are scrubs and drug addicts.

Henski , revisionist historians want to pretend 9,10,11 never happened … Amaris biggest critic was ecstatic that they didn’t trade Worley or brown to get pence… What a joke!
