My Overall Record Projecting Winners: 47-31
My Record Projecting The Eagles Outcomes: 4-1
New England @ Buffalo
The Patriots showed last week that rumors of their demise had been significantly blown out of proportion. The Bills can thank Alex Henery and his three misses last week as the reason that they picked up a win. Kyle Orton is terrible, and the Bills won’t be so fortunate to outduel the Pats.
Pick: New England 30, Buffalo 13
Carolina @ Cincinnati
Bengals defense bounces back at home against a Carolina team with no running game and a struggling quarterback.
Pick: Cincinnati 20, Carolina 13
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland
The Browns have been a feisty team this year. They’ve kept themselves in a lot of games, and gotten a couple of nice wins, including a big rally against the Titans last week. They’ve come close to division victories a couple of times this year, and I think they put it together tomorrow and upset the Steelers at home.
Pick: Cleveland 27, Pittsburgh 24
Green Bay @ Miami
The Packers have extended rest, and are starting to find their groove offensively.
Pick: Green Bay 30, Miami 20
Detroit @ Minnesota
The Lions bounce back from a bad loss against the Bills, Minnesota gets some energy from the return of Teddy Bridgewater, but the Lions still prove to be the better team.
Pick: Detroit 27, Minnesota 23
Denver @ New York
The Jets are a sinking ship. The only move they have left to save their season is to make Michael Vick the starter, and they continue to hold off on that. Manning and the Broncos lay a beat down on Geno and the Jets.
Pick: Denver 38, New York 10
Baltimore @ Tampa Bay
The Bucs have some new life with Mike Glennon resuming the quarterback duties he never should have lost. Baltimore however, needs to bounce back after dropping one to the Colts last week.
Pick: Baltimore 23, Tampa Bay 20
Jacksonville @ Tennessee
I think this is the week that Gus Bradley and the Jaguars win one. Blake Bortles has turned the ball over a ton, but he’s also showed some nice signs here and there. I think they put it together and edge the Titans on the road.
Pick: Jacksonville 17, Tennessee 13
San Diego @ Oakland
Two teams going in the complete opposite direction. The Chargers are on a roll, the Raiders are plummeting towards another top draft pick.
Pick: San Diego 31, Oakland 13
Washington @ Arizona
Washington has just been a mess. They’re in no position to go out west and beat an Arizona team that has been solid all year.
Pick: Arizona 24, Washington 17
Chicago @ Atlanta
Two up-and-down teams coming off of bad losses. I like the Falcons at home, Matt Ryan should be able to shred a beat up Bears defense.
Pick: Atlanta 28, Chicago 20
Dallas @ Seattle
Hear that? Its the sound of the Cowboys coming back down to earth, and it starts with an ugly road loss to Seattle.
Pick: Seattle 27, Dallas 13
New York Giants @ Philadelphia
The Giants have been playing some very solid football over the last few weeks, while the Eagles have been living off of big plays and touchdowns from defense and special teams. The Eagles struggles catch up with them at a bad time.
Pick: New York 27, Philadelphia 20
San Francisco @ St. Louis
I don’t buy Austin Davis’ big numbers. The 49ers win their third straight.
Pick: San Francisco 23, St. Louis 17
Denny’s new Eagles record will be 4-2 tomorrow. Fuck the gmen , they got no shot
Hope so. Can’t feel good about the Eagles though until the offense actually shows some kind of positive consistency.
Denny you picked 9 road teams out of 14 games…. I can’t see that working out real well
hac, which of those home teams do you like?
The majority of home teams this week just flat out suck. Jets at home against Denver really going to make a difference? Or will it for Oakland against SD? Kyle Orton going to light up Revis and the Patriots since he’s playing in Buffalo? Is Ryan Tannehill really any more likely to overcome Rodgers and Packers since that game is in Miami?
There’s certainly a couple there that I think could go either way, but I’m not picking games just fill a quota for home teams.
Tampa Bay hasn’t been terrible lately, and could very well take down the Ravens at home. Baltimore’s offense is hot and cold, but I wouldn’t bet on a bad franchise like that.
Tennessee/Jacksonville could go either way, but honestly both teams are so bad, it doesn’t really matter where that game is played.
Maybe St. Louis comes out and plays hard against a division foe on Monday night, but I don’t see it.
Obviously the Eagles could certainly win their game, but almost all of those home teams have some pretty brutal matchups.
Denny, I have no idea , on paper you are 100% correct I just feel like in the nfl 9 road teams don’t win on the weekend. I think eagles at home and Tampa at home…
Mick Vick is ready. last week Mike Vick not only had a new hat with a little breast cancer pink in the Jet Logo but he played the whole 2nd half. Exciting!!!!!!!!!!
I sense a lot of Upsets Today
I like the following Teams to Win Today to set the NFL Races
Upside down…
Dolphins over Packers
Bills over Patriots
Browns over Steelers
Cowboys over Seahawks
