  • Aaron Nola pitched six innings and allowed just two runs.
  • Nola gave up eight hits and one walk.
  • Mark Leiter was lit up for three runs in one inning of relief.
  • Drew Anderson gave a run in his major league debut.

At The Plate

  • The offense managed just one run.
  • Tommy Joseph drove in the team’s only run, going 2-3 with a double and a walk.
  • Hyunn Soo Kim went 1-3 with a double and a walk.
  • Andrew Knapp went 1-4 with a double.
  • Cesar Hernandez went 2-5 with a couple of singles.

Final Thoughts

It was surprising enough to see the Phils on a five-game winning streak, they were overdue to come down to earth a bit.
