- Hoby Milner pitched a scoreless eighth.
- Hector Neris got the save in the ninth.

- The offense put up five runs on 11 hits.
- Odubel Herrera went 3-4 with a double and a two-run homer.
- Nick Williams went 2-4 with a double and a walk, driving in one.
- Maikel Franco went 1-5, driving in a run.
- Cesar Hernandez went 1-4 with a double and a walk.

Final Thoughts
Zach Eflin is an interesting case.
He’s shown flashes of being a capable starter. He’s also looked like a guy that might be nothing more than a spot starter.
This will be Eflin’s third crack at sticking in the majors, hopefully the third time will be the charm for the young right hander.
