My Thoughts Eagles/Falcons

Not a bad Philly sports day, huh? The Eagles took the field against what we thought should have been a favored opponent, and laid the smack down. Then the Phillies even the series at 1-1 with the Giants. Pretty good day.

But let’s talk about that Eagles spread really quickly. The Eagles were a three-point favorite yesterday? Those guys in Vegas know what they are doing to say the least. I have a bunch of friends who would gamble on a game of Chinese Checkers if you let them, and they were drooling over that spread. It was a can’t lose!

And then this happened. The Eagles simply knocked the snot out of the Falcons. The 4-1 Falcons. The “best team” in the NFC. Let’s take a look at the game:

What I liked…

-There are no “buts” this week. I can’t say that “this was a good job, but…” Before, it wasn’t that impressive because they beat the awful Lions or Jaguars. This was a quality opponent. The 4-1 Falcons with talent all over the roster. Give Andy Reid credit, they came out with a plan that the Falcons didn’t have any answer for. I could honestly say through the first half of that game that I was thoroughly impressed with this football team.

-This is the Kevin Kolb we thought we were getting, right? He was decisive. He delivered the football accurately. He trusted his blocking (I don’t think I would, but kudos to him). He didn’t make the stupid decisions that make you throw things at your television. He did it against a quality opponent. And just for the record, I’m not a Kolb guy. I’m not a Vick guy either. I’m not saying either one should start or sit. They are both decent quarterbacks that I’m not totally sold on. I want to see more from both of them.

-I can say that I thoroughly enjoy watching LeSean McCoy run. I still want to see him protect the ball better, but man he’s got some moves. When he ran out to the left and was one-on-one with that linebacker, did you have any doubts that he was going to make him miss? I didn’t. And the linebacker certainly missed.

-Jeremy Maclin can hurt you bad. He’s not just a decent receiver that can take advantage of coverages that are rolled DeSean’s way. He’ll kill you by himself.

-Props to King Dunlap. I will raise my hand and be the first to say that I was one of the throngs of people who said he couldn’t play. Maybe he’ll never be a star. So what, he went out and proved that he belongs in the NFL. Good job.

-The offensive line as a whole did a nice job considering they’ve had no stability (I had a great analogy here, but I know some people would get offended so I left it out) and no consistency. They are truly working with what they have.

-The special teams coverage units didn’t embarrass themselves this week!

-I love that they bottled up Michael Turner, but has anyone else noticed that Turner looks like he’s running on the beach this year? He isn’t hitting the holes and he has no burst.

-Asante Samuel had a nice pick and should have had another (more on that later). He can be frustrating and we break his balls a lot, but he’s still a high-end corner.

…and not so much…

-Speaking of the second pick that Asante should have had, I hate how the referees across the NFL call pass interference. When the ball is in the air, each player has an equal right to go get it. Offensive pass interference is never called the way it should be. Asante got assaulted and the pass was ruled incomplete. Jenkins isn’t allowed to throw him around like that.

-No one was more pissed off about the missed field goals than David Akers. He has more than earned the right to go out and have a day like this. Let’s be honest, even when he misses his kicks look nice. Ever see Garrett Hartley miss?

-I know this is a “good problem” to have, but at some point, they need to pick a QB and go with him. When everyone’s healthy, the decision has to be made.

-This is just a theory based on some empirical data. Time will tell if I’m right and I hope I’m not. I’m wondering if there is a link between Kolb’s play when he knows he’s absolutely the guy, and when he is just filling in. People say that he only had a half of a game as “the guy.” Well, sort of. When he was “the guy” even in preseason he was playing pretty poorly. His best games have come when he’s filling in for an injured Donovan McNabb or Michael Vick. I don’t know that there is any correlation, but I’m just passing the thought along.

-I’ll say it again, I’m not an Ernie Sims fan. Way to much speed and athleticism to be so absent on so many plays. That tells me something is missing upstairs. And for the record, his mustache irritates me.

-I hated seeing that DeSean Jackson hit, just like everyone else. But, it must be said that it wasn’t dirty or illegal. We love the hard hits in football and they don’t come any harder than that. And now all I hear is people talking about how we can eliminate those hits from the game. Here’s the deal: You can’t. You just can’t. I feel badly for DeSean, but any Eagles fans that want to talk about how we can get rid of those vicious hits need to ask themselves one thing: Was I saying that when Sheldon Brown unloaded on Reggie Bush or Steven Jackson? Are they the exact same thing? No. But they were similar hits that led with the shoulder. All of it is within the context of football.

G ~ agree with everything you said except the hit on DeSean. Leading with your head or helmet to helmet isn’t legal or even smart. As a former LB I would have applauded the hit if it were below DeSean’s head with a shoulder instead of the helmet. I must add the defender was moving so fast that even in super slow motion it was difficult to see so it probably was difficult for him to redirect at the end.

I hope Jackson is going to recover from his second concussion this season. He is a competitor and on his touchdown run he broke two tackles. It appeared that helmets touched and the guy wanted to hit him high. I hope the league does something to deter these high hits.

You know what I think….. I my self think it was horrible coaching this season… Yes granted that we had one good game but you know what…. Good coaches like Tony Dungy will not draw up a play to get there star recievers killed on the field…. We knew a injury to our star player was going to happen one way or another because we picked up Jorrick Calvin to help the special teams but you still put Deshawn Jackson in to return punts… MM and AR draw up a stupid crossing route and guess what our main reciever gets punished…. Poor judgement on the coaching staff from April and Juan Rivera because we are the worse in the leauge on special teams and we give up the most sacks in the leauge…. Wow one game AR gets it together this season but hits like what Deshawn took should have never happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We as fans can praise this victory!! But we know that this coaching staff has made horrible judgement this season… Like putting Stewart Bradley back into the game after he was stubbling on the field… You just dont do that these are players who’s health and life is on the line… Andy Reid’s Judgement through the years are getting worse and worse every year….

And to all these Kevin Kolb all of a sudden “Cock Riders”, just a few weeks ago you guys were like Kolb sucks which I my self think he still does…. Koy Detmer had a few good games in Philly so what. We all knew that Atlanta falcons Secondary wasn’t that good from jump…. Wait until we play against a team with a good secondary and you will see Kolb looking like Matt Moore out there on the field… Its a good booster game for confidence for him but you seen how he looked against Washington’s Secondary. Im not sold on Kolb

Micah, I don’t think that’s Kolb’s problem. This is how I see his progression: in those first 2 games, there was no pressure, so he was able to perform up to his abilities no problem. Then he opened this season as the starter, and everything came down on him at once. Remember, he only played one half of one game. I think against GB we saw Kolb getting acclimated to the regular season, not wanting to make a big mistake so early. He didn’t play well at all, but didn’t have a chance to play better afterwards. Until now… and he came back angry. I think that anger is fueling his good play, at least a little. I also think it’s promising to see him come back in, when there is considerable pressure on him: he believes that if he keeps throwing for 300+, Andy might stick with him. I’m not worried about Kolb at all going forward, and I’m sure he’ll be a good QB for us in the future. I just hope we can get something for Vick, like franchise him and then trade him, because he’s a top 15 QB in this league (along with Kolb, IMO).

Also, jroc and songs, you’re idiots.

i agree with Micah on the big hits, it’s part of the game….
HUGE props to King Dunlap. He was a terrible backup who got a spot start and played great….reminds me of a certain starting right tackle of ours
As for the reignited QB controversy, I say stick with Vick after the bye then next year have Kolb start once we can solidify our oline

I swore to myself before Vick got hurt that I’d never read another post from Songs cause it’s sinply a waste of my time. Well, I couldn’t help myself on this one and he didn’t dissapoint by suddenly having somthing of value to add. Talk about sour grapes, the guy’s like Eeyore, everything is negative and I second schill & akaTheDog on their opinion of Songs post.

All that been said, the Birdz played a great game and it was a pleasure to watch. I hope they’ll be more like this to come but, with this young team, they may be few this solid this season. Either way, I’ll be cheering for the team.

i remember scouting reports of kolb said he had alot of the same tools as troy aikman and the main reason they made the comparison is because when he is heavily pressured he starts to break down.

i won’t address the ridiculous comments but By the numbers Kolb has the same passing numbers as the Immortal Michael Vick. Heres what i would do if i ran the eagles. Give Kolb the next game and trot vick out against indy. Breaking it down it goes like this. Age goes to kolb, experience goes to vick; arm goes to vick, accuracy goes to kolb, progression push, mobility vick. With the current flux on the Line you got to roll with Vick. What i would do in the off season is trade kolb to the browns or minnesota for their first pick. ( a young QB with his resume is worth a 1) draft an elite prospect qb and an OT. Kolb ultimately is a system qb. He will need time to progress. Reid Needs a ring ASAP, within 2 seasons. Vick is only getting a 3-4 yrs deal from the birds if any. Vick presently gives the best chance to win and win in the “immediate Future” but he is not the long term answer. Thats why you look heavily at Locker, Mallett, or Luck

Loki, tell me an elite qb that doesn’t get rattled after consistent pressure, you simply can’t. And how many times have scouting reports been flat wrong? – countless. I don’t get why you want to get rid of a guy who you compare to a three time superbowl champ…that doesn’t make much sense. And if he’s really just a ‘system QB’ (whatever that is’, who cares, we have a system and weapons.

I just don’t see why you want to get rid of a guy who has proven he can play well in the nfl for some hot named mel kiper hype toy-of-the-season name. How many top qb prospects fail miserably, a lot. The verdict by most people is that the eagles currently have two very good qbs, and you want to get rid of them and start from scratch with a gamble…I just don’t get that.

Damn, y’all act like Kolb is Montana or Brady or something. Lol. Listen, he’s not, He’s not Manning, He’s no Michael Vick for that matter!

Look, the Falcons didn’t blitz Kolb once, and he had plenty of time to make his reads. Vick had just as great a performance with all kinds of pressure. Pressure that everyone agreed would get Kolb killed. The choice has been made and it is a sound one, Vick is the starter and will play when he’s healthy. I didn’t see Kolb do anything Sunday that Vick couldn’t do given the same time to make his reads. On the other hand, I’ve seen Vick make many plays that Kolb wish he could. That’s a FACT !! Football is about winning, and putting your best players on the field. Players that can make plays against the opposition, not just look good when the other team lies down to be your doormat.
I like Kevin Kolb a lot. I do. I see that if you do not blitz him, he will kill your defense. But so will Michael Vick, blitz him or no blitz, he will kill you with his legs AND his arm. But the Falcons hardly hurried Kolb, and he was able to go through his reads with ease. Vick is a proven playmaker with his arm and his legs. He made it to the Pro Bowl with subpar passing performances in Atlanta, and now that he’s vastly improved that aspect of his game, he is clearly a better choice.

With that being said and for the best interest of the team from a die-hard fan (Me) MICHEAL VICK SHOULD BE STARTING AFTER THE BYE, BECAUSE NOT ONLY IS HE A BETTER QB BUT KEVIN KOLB STILL HASN’T WON A BIG GAME AND WE’VE ALL SEEN THAT WHEN HE GET’S PRESSURED HE MESSES UP… AND THERE’S NOT ALWAYS GONNA BE GREAT BLOCKING FOR THE QB. VICK UNDER PRESSURE IS NO DIFFERENT THAN NOT BEING UNDER PRESSURE. HE ISN’T SCARED OF PRESSURE AND PLAYS EVEN BETTER WHEN UNDER IT.

Ok here me out and maybe im crazy. But screw it! Why not start whatever QB you want. Like having a double QB. pick a guy to start say kolb. kolb have a bad game pull him at half and play vick. Or vise versa. Coaches dont have accurate game plans for vick nore kolb. Because none have them have played a full season. So keep them off balance by playing a specific qb for that game. And if by half hes playing like garbage you swtich to the second guy not by plays but a guys cant get in a grove, but by halves.. It would be a whole new system for qb’s by committee like running backs????? No coaches have any full tape on any of these guys!!! I also agree with the article i think kolb is a good fill in guy.

It’s amazing to me that after the Eagles biggest win of the Season to date, and against a good team that the Eagles most likley will be competing with for a NFC Playoff spot, that there are posters who
are dissing some of the Eagles players and Kolb in particular…
“That Falcons didn’t blitz”.. “Abraham wasn’t 100%” Falcons best cover CB Robsinson also went out of the game after collision with D-Jax”, “Matt Ryan played a poor game and threw too many short passes”,
and to Dizzy J above… “Kolb hasn’t won a big game yet”, well he just did this past Sunday !!!!!!
and to the fans who said the Falcons didn’t blitz enough, well that’s their problem and for anyone who knows a little something about the Falcons Defense schemes, they are not a heavy blitzing type of team, they are drop back in coverage type of team and count on tackling and their secondary making INT (Which they lead the league in) and plays on the ball, so the fact that the Eagles took advantage of it becomes a negative reflection on the coaches, team and Kolb in particular to you…
That makes no sense and I can now see why “Dizzy” is part of your sign-on name…

No, seriously, the Falcons didnt blitz Paul. You are a know-it-all. You know nothing son. You talk all intelligent to make it seem like you do. But you don’t have me fooled. You suck! lol I’ve been reading your corny ass comments on here for awhile now. I got so annoyed, I decided to join this site and be heard. Because your viewpoints absolutely suck! lol.

Now….I didn’t put Kolb down. You people are so on his bandwagon, you skimmed right over the points in which I complimented Kevin. Yes, he did a great job. He is looking good right now. BUT he is NO MICHAEL VICK. There is only one and that one should be starting. He is our best chance to make it to the super bowl and PLUS he has playoff experience. There is a difference between regular season and playoff atmosphere.

If you want to give the credit during the ATL game, I give most of it to our O-line. Because if they would have blitzed Kevin, there is no damn way he would have had the game he had. He was free from pressure all day long and picked them apart. But Mike Vick would have done the same thing. But AGAIN, here’s why you stick with Vick for people that dont understand like that dweeb Paul Mancini, lol:

The electrifying athlete was 21 of 34 – connecting with nine teammates – for 284 yards with two TDs, ran for 37 yards and escaped losses with the spin moves of a dancer and speed of a sprinter.

Yes, even though it was the Lions….Vick was pressured, Unlike Kolb last game. But pressure does not affect this man. He went out and did even better against Jacksonville the following week and was pressured that game as well. So I definitely feel more comfortable with a QB that can play the same under/not under pressure. Because trust me…Thats what the playoffs are all about. PRESSURE! And Kevin cannot handle it.

Remember that word: Pressure.

I just hit that on the money…So Paul and Co. Take that to the bank

Also, ask yourselves this question. Will the loss of wide receiver DeSean Jackson have any bearing on Reid’s decision as to who the Quarterback will be?

It should.

If Jackson – who suffered a concussion against the Falcons – is gone for a significant amount of time, then the Eagles will need as many playmakers on the field as possible. And besides Jackson, Vick is the best playmaker on the team.

What is there too whine about this week?

Micah…since when can you determine a guy is playing well cause ” he’s fillin in” …wtf is that…sorry dude..dumb comment. The kid can play…he has a great release and he throws a nice ball with touch. Give him time and i think he will go too a Pro-bowl.

Vick is the starter and better then him now. When he returns he’ll rush for 75 and a touch against the Colts and we WILL beat them.

After that W and seeing the Giants highlioghts in think we can win this division.

i see what ur saying dizzy and i complete understand where ur coming from
i dont understand the scheme of the last 2 teams we played either
they played as if they have great secondaries they played as if vick were qbing alot of zone keeping trying to keep everything in front of them and alot of soft coverage (this is their identity though a bend but dont break d)
but im very thankful they were dumb and played those schemes
kolb did well and took what the d gave him
i also agree that we wont continue to see these defensive schemes especially in the nfc east
i dont wanna take nothing away from kolb by blasting the other team’s d but i get ya
the best team we played tho to date was green bay and by far they had the best d
seems we like soft coverage d’s
but we a little trouble with the 1 aggresive bump and run d we faced

Dizzy – There isn’t a single person out there who is arguing that Kolb is similar in anyway to Vick (except for maybe the word ‘effective’). The two are drastically different and everyone knows it.

As for the ‘playoff experience’ part of your argument, let’s not worry about the playoffs in week 7 – am I wrong? There’s no reason to get ahead of ourselves. And there’s really no reason for any of use fans to predict or worry about who’s starting, because at this point, both QBs are winning. If that changes, then it’s a worthwhile conversation.

Just cause some people are saying they are very impressed with Kolb and he may be a keeper, that doesn’t in any way mean that they are forgetting or devaluing Vick’s upside, performances of late, and potential. You’re getting a bit defensive for no apparent reason.

That said, it’s cool you’re boys with King ‘DUNdidLAPs around the haters’ – tell him you know Eagles fans who really are impressed in appreciate his efforts – I know I am and do.

Good read Micah!!! I too was glad to see King D step up to the challenge that was John Abraham and the falcons D. I will be even more impressed if he can prove that this game was no fluke and do it on a week to week basis. As for the QB situation I’d like to offer up another thought: I do not think Mike V will be with this organization next season. What do you think we can get for him? What ever it is I’m of the opinion that it was still a good pick up even though we did not trade, pay, or lose anyone to get him in here. What do you think we could get for Kolb? The guy had 3 years to sit behind a future hall of fame QB and learn. He’s proven that he is a capable QB and I’m willing to bet that he’ll be an even better QB once this season is over. Either way Andy is right. …….This is a good “problem” to have. GO EAGLES!!!!!!

Erock, okay now your getting annoying. be gone.

I hear you Shiller and PhillyWill. Like I said, I love how Kevin has been playing. Just put it like this, If Michael Vick was not on this team of ours…I would have a Kevin Kolb jersey on right now and all. But Mike is here and while he is and hopefully for a long time, In my opinion I think he should start. Im sorry, I just feel so strongly about it. More confident. Erock says how do I know Kolb wouldnt have been able to handle the pressure? Well, looking at Kevin’s past games being hit and under pressure….not a good look man. Kevin is the man when there is no pressure. Just be honest with yourself homie.

And Schiller, I will definitely let King know that, my brother and I will. He is a cool down to earth big kid and he’s generous too. King is the man. You know, other than be 6″9, he has an arm wingspan length of 8 feet long! If you ask me, that is amazing. King will get better and better, the man has it. Whats sad is that the same people bad mouthing King at training camp saying he sucked this and that….were the same people bugging him for autographs and begging for pictures with him. Fellow Eagles fans, if you are a real Eagles fan, you dont talk bad about players and then jump on their bandwagon when they do good. That is called “FAKE”

Dizzy, yeah man, unfortunately, that’s often what you get in Philly (with some, maybe many, maybe even most, but not all Philly fans)…. Jimmy Rollins was not incorrect when he said the ‘front-runners’ word… look at Kolb, look at Vick, look at Dunlap, Justice, McCoy, Maclin, Jackson – you name it, most of the guys we love and root for, were hated and pronounced ‘bums’ before. Look at Celek right now, the team is winning, he’s having some drops, and all those who were beaming when he became a legit TE are now backtracking…. we (generally) are a fickle bunch of fans. I have always said that it can effect players ‘heads’ – it clearly did with jimmy rollins enough for him to speak up (though his play has been great throughout), and we all know it affected Donovan….

So I hope King doesn’t let it get to him, but I know it’s hard.

As for Vick, if him starting means wins, I don’t think anyone will disagree with you…

Example: Even though Kerry Kollins is older than Kevin, Vince Young went down last night and Kerry continued the game towards a victory. Say Kerry plays against us and wins next week….Okay and then the next week there is a QB controversy….Vince or Kerry? Vince all day! Vince was doing well before he went down, let the man proceed where he left off.
But with Michael and Kevin, Kevin was not doing good before he went down. But Michael Vick was playing like the best QB in the league before he went down. So let Michael picked up where he left off. Feel me? Its not like Kevin is doing things that Michael can’t!

I don’t beleive I ever stated that Kolb is better QB than VIck, Dizzy…
In fact, I stated that Vick gives the Eagles the best opportunity to win this year and should be the starter if/when Healthy. I have stated and stand by my comments that it was way too premature to write off Kolb as a bust and non-factor just like it is a little pre-mature to make Vick an All-Pro after 2 great games. I also have stated and still stand by that the Eagles moving forward will need both Vick & Kolb to be able to play and play at a high level if they have serious aspirations for a Championship Run.. So all in all, I have been consistent with my comments and thoughts about the team and it’s QB’s.. If you don’t like them or agree with them and have a different point of view, that’s fine and what this site is all about, It would be pretty boring if we all chimed in and had the same thoughts/comments.. Schiller, everything you just said was on point. As long as Michael is winning, I think he should be the starter because thats what this thing is all about. I just think he has earned the right to resume where he left off given his excellent play before injury.

I definitely can agree with you about our bi-polar fans here in Philly. It sucks. They’re not loyal. I actually cheered for Donovan on draft day because I watched him and college and knew what he could do. Same for Jackson, Maclin, King, etc. Our fans tend to boo even before seeing that athlete play the game of football. Then when that player exceeds expectation, they love’em. Its so fake. Like, I was all for giving Kevin a chance to play. I think its great he get that experience like he is now. And he has that experience now. So now that we know, lets go back to Vick. Experiment over and back to the Experience. Because experience is what it is going to take to win a super bowl….I’m not going to say I know it all like Mr.Mancini. Because all of the above is just my opinion. And I respect everyone’s opinion. But some try to make it seem like Kevin is now better than Michael because he beat the Falcons. Some do, not all of you. And thats just rediculous.

Lets remember, the Falcons last year were the same team they are this year. Vick played a lot last year and destroyed the Falcons last year. I remember that game. My whole point is, Vick can do everything Kevin can do. But Kevin cannot do everything Michael can. Because for example, if you put Kevin up against that wild Giants front four or the Cowboys, they will kill him. Regardless of how good our O-line is by then, those teams aggressively blitz the QB. So rather than Andy making himself look dumb and switching QB’s out again, after the bye…Just stick with Vick. Thats all I wanted to say about that situation though. I hope you guys see my point.

Not to change the Subject..
I tell you who I think is the next coming of QB D McNabb is from College and maybe even better
Auburn Junior QB Cameron Newton at 6′”6 250 lbs who can throw and run..
Watching video, this kids a monster with a huge upside if he gets with the right team and coaches…
He is only a Junior but I believe he will delcare himself eligible for the 2011 Draft and will only add to
the very talented QB class of the 2011 Draft ..

Philly fans are as same as anywhere in the country dude….theres some who dont know the game and just make statements cause others are maken em. Then theres fans(most Philly fans) who know everything there is too know and are proud of there teams. Support them and not act like morons and call them childish names and critic there press conferences.

And dont give me Kerry STINKIN Collins this week and there ruff n tough defense and pre-bye week garbage. We’re hitting our stride and will stomp the Titans this weekend.GoPHILLS!

If it is at all possible I say the Eagles try to keep both QB’s, I think that Kolb would be more willing to hang around as a back up than Vick, so I say work a deal with Vick. Kolb becomes the best back up in the league, and the heir to the throne when Vick finally slows down, or want to much.

We can’t let Vick slide to the Vikings, that my friends could get ugly.

As always LONG LIVE THE EAGLES

Hey Dizzy,
Can you keep your comments somewhat respectable.. there are young kids on here at times and
your language is a little out of line, don’t you think..If you don’t clean up you language , you could be banned from this site.. so if you want to keep your comments coming, then clean it up a little…

Paul, with all due respect, how do you know that there are young kids on here? and do YOU have the ability to ban people? I’m curious. We never were given the reason that G let you post an article. Do you run this site or something? Are you the one that sold the adspace to dirty companies that promote viruses?

A free site to discuss & Comment on the Eagles by G Coob who as a former player and who is active the Philadlephia Community and has a strong Reputation of telling it like it is from a former player’s perspective’.. How could there not be younger Eagle Fan’s on here and besides, his language is offending some adults on here too..
As far as writing an article or 2 on here, G Man invited me to write some articles on whatever topics
I saw fit, back in the spring/draft time, so I contributed a couple articles and he posted them on here..
Why did he ask me, or what’s the the process to be able the contribute, I don’t know, and you would have to ask him, but I am glad he did..
Outside of that Schiller, I am just like you, a passionate fan who likes to discuss on the Eagles, and their entire Organization from the Front Office,Coaches,Players,Rosters,Schemes,Games,Match-ups,Free-Agents,Drafts and their Opponents..
I admit, I kid around lot and poke some fun and bust chops like many do on here..but I never go out and personally attack another or use foul language for that is not my style or personality..
I live in NC and don’t have the ability to listen to the local media, talk shows, daily news, etc, etc,
(which is probably a good thing) I also don’t go on the Eagles.Com offical site too often for it’s a team run site thru thre NFL, so of course, you going to get what the Organization want us fans to hear..So I get my fix on the Eagles from this site and I am gald that there are lots of other passionate and knowledgeable fans that are on here, I just think some of the name calling and the foul language is unncessary and childish, so when I see a pettern of it, I will call people out on it ..

cool. Thanks for the explanation Paul. I personally doubt that kids often hear of this site at all. And I respect your opinion on name calling a cursing – you certainly do not participate in that But I don’t think there’s really any harm to it. Kids are going to be exposed to curses no matter what. They’re some of the most versatile and expressive words in our language. And they play a vital role in communication. It’s parents’ and teachers’ jobs to teach kids when it’s not appropriate to use them…
