Can McNabb Continue Here?

Deion Sanders was on NFL network last night forecasting that Donovan McNabb was going to try to get out of Philly.

Sanders is just talking because I think McNabb will wind up signing an extension here.

I looked around the internet.  I turned on 610-WIP.  It seemed like the best thing that could happen for McNabb and the city would be a divorce but a divorce isn't going to happen.

McNabb doesn't want to stop his pursuit of an NFL title.  That's understandable.  But if he continues his quest here in Philly it's going to be painful for him.

That's five NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl yet the Eagles and McNabb still lack a World Championship.  I don't think he can ever perform above the noise here in Philly. He'll be here and stories about Philly being cruel to McNabb will flourish.

I don't think it's going to happen but McNabb would enjoy continuing his chase in another place.

If he stays here it's going to get uglier and uglier.  It won't be any fun for the quarterback.

Like last night after their loss to the Cardinals, you'll have media members asking players on a defense that got embarrassed by Larry Fitzgerald, whether McNabb should be back.  A lot of the guys who were being asked whether Five should be back, should have been asked whether they, themselves, should return.

Reid would be better off out of here also, but he's going to be back as well.
