McNabb Talks About Tampa Trip

Donovan McNabb went to the Super Bowl as an analyst with ESPN.  Recently he made a report for his Yardbarker.com blog on his Tampa trip.

"I had a great time in Tampa leading up to Super Bowl although it certainly would have been much better if we were playing in the game. ESPN treated me well and I appreciate the help that I was provided with in terms of preparation for the three days of analyst work.

The media tour I did on Friday on behalf of Novartis was enjoyable. Being able to reach out to so many people about becoming more aware of hypertension and high blood pressure is something that means a lot to me and my parents. Connecting with many people through a variety of media outlets certainly shows the commitment that Novartis is making. Even though I was asked many of the same football questions over and over again, I hope that some people actually paid attention to the important message – be aware of your healthy blood pressure range. The game was incredible. What happened to the Cardinals was reminiscent of what happened to us two weeks earlier. To come back from a double-digit deficit to take a 4th quarter lead only to have the other team come back again, certainly plays with your emotions. There was no shortage of outstanding performances on both sides of the field. Congratulations to the Steelers.

I want to take this time to thank all of the loyal readers of this blog. I thank you for your support and encouragement, as well as the constructive criticism along the way. I'm going to take a brief time off from football but will check in with you from time to time with updates and some opinions on college basketball.

All you amateur psychiatrists and psychologists can now read all kinds of double meanings into what he said.
