It’s all about the trade market and the draft now for the Eagles. There are no difference-makers out there in the free agent market.
The Eagles have too many picks right now in the upcoming draft. I don't think they're willing to draft all those players and sign them, so they've got to find somebody who wants those picks.
While doing that they will also be looking for veteran players who could help their football team right now.
As for trades, the rumors are running rampant. You name it, it’s out there swirling around the internet.
Some have the Eagles trading for Anquan Boldin, and others have them acquiring Chad Johnson of the Bengals.
I would keep an eye on the Bengals. They let T.J. walk, they may be doing a rebuilding.
Former Pro Bowl wide receiver Torry Holt and former Pro Bowl offensive tackle Orlando Pace are available but how much do they have left.
The Eagles don’t believe in trading for old players so I don’t think these guys are part of the plan.
Young cornerback Antonio Cromartie of the San Diego Chargers has unlimited ability plus the height to counter big receivers like Plaxico Burress, Terrell Owens and Larry Fitzgerald.
I heard that he may be on the market for the right price.
I would guarantee that they’re going to trade for somebody, but I’m not sure yet which way they’re going to go.
