One of the reasons the Eagles have decided to sign Michael Vick could be because they want to get the attention away from the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Phillies are the talk of the town and they have a good chance to win another championship. Yes with the addition of Cliff Lee who has been dominating, the Phils are leading their division by five games and are one of the favorites to win this year's World Series.
The Eagles aren't used to being second fiddle in this town and the signing of Michael Vick puts them back in the spotlight.
I must admit that last night's post game news conferences of Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb convinced me that both of them are sincere about giving Vick a chance to redeem himself and get back into the NFL.
