Was There A Memo Saying No Sacks In Pro Bowl?

Jackson on scoring play I’ve got some major problems with that Pro Bowl last night.  You can’t have a game where defensive ends beat the guy blocking them then run by the quarterback and leave him untouched.

This happened a number of times in the game last night.  How can you even think about taking a game seriously when that happens?

I had to turn the television to the Grammy’s.

I could see the refs being quicik with the whistle when a quarterback is grabbed.  Once the quarterback has been grabbed they should blow the play down in the Pro Bowl, but you can’t have defensive linemen beating their men then running by the quarterback and letting him throw the ball downfield.

Of course the guys calling the game just overlooked it, rather than call it like they saw it.

Back in the day, I give Howard Cosell credit, he would have called like he saw it.  Nowadays the announcers ignore the obvious and act as if they didn’t even see it.

I will give them credit that the game had a little more buzz this time than it had in the past.

You had to know that DeSean Jackson was going to cut up in a game like this where nobody was being hit.  He showed his jets on that screen from McNabb.

Donovan didn’t do much for his resume in this game.  What was it 3 for 10 for 73 yards, but nobody’s counting.

I could have called that double move early in the game on Asante Samuel.  He was biting all over that route before Matt Schaub couldn’t even do a pump fake.
