Scout Inc’s Top 32 Rated Draft Eligible Players

Eric Berry returns an interceptionNebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, Oklahoma defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and Tennessee safety Eric Berry are regarded as clearly the top three players in this year’s draft.

It’s too bad that the Birds don’t have one of those top pick because their defense needs some additional talent desperately.

Suh and McCoy are likened to Minnesota’s mammoth defenisve tackle Kevin Williams, while Berry is compared to Baltimore’s Ed Reed.

It’s too bad Berry will be gone when the Eagles draft 24th in the first round.

Scout Inc has USC safety Taylor Mays rated as the 23rd player in the draft and coincidentally, the Eagles happen to have a severe need at the weak safety position.

I don’t think Quintin Demps and Macho Harris will ever be quality players at the safety position.  Demps lacks the mental discipline and Harris lacks the size.
