The Eagles got a great kickoff from David Akers, then defense went in there and got a three and out. Hopefully they’ll start out offensively like they did a week ago. We’ll be discussing the game all afternoon, so make your comment here as you choose.
They started out with good yardage on a wide receiver screen to Jeremy Maclin. They did get a first down, but were forced to punt. How did you like that run by Chad Hall?
The defense must keep the Titans backed up so they’ll have great field position when they force Tennessee to punt.
Kerry Collins just threw the ball up for grabs and Quintin Mikell came down with it. That’s inexcusable for a veteran quarterback to loft the ball up into a crowd like that.

Kevin Kolb missed a couple of open receivers on that last drive. He had Brent Celek for a long gain and also had Chad Hall. I think the pass rush is getting to him a little bit.
That was a big helmet to helmet hit by Ernie Sims. They’re not going to be able to get Antonio Dixon off teh field because of the way he’s playing.
McCoy consistently putting the Eagles in favorable situations with nice gains on 1st down!
McCoy makes more tacklers miss than just about anybody in the league right now. I”m not saying he’s the best back in the league, but he’s sure knows how to make tacklers miss. He was the main reason for that field goal.
The Eagles are doing a great job Chris Johnson so far.

Against the 49ers and Falcons, Reid has run the ball an uncharacteristic 52% of the time. I don’t know what the stats are thus far, but now that we’re behind, he’ll probably put the ball up more.
Too bad Kolb missed a wide-open Celek.
McCoy’s cut-back is nasty!
I wanted to see how Kolb played after getting hit. The Titans have hit him a few times and Kolb has looked a little skittish. He just missed Maclin, wide open.
Kolb scrambled for a first down. I hope he doesn’t start bailing on the plays.
It was reported that in the past two games, Reid gave Kolb one designated for each play, so that he wouldn’t have to read defenses.

Dixon has turned out to be a great find from last years off the Redksins Practice squad..
It appears that Returner Colvin was a great move also..

Maclin’s been open deep for TD’s at least twice that I’ve noticed and lack of arm strength or wind has shut the ball down just short.
3 points ok, I like Kolb how runs the 2 minute drill, not as exciting as VIck with his big-play capability down the field,but all in all, very efficient as opposed to the very inconsistent #05 that used to run them..
13-7 on the Road is a good 1st half..
2nd half wind’s at Kolb’s back..gotta hit Maclin! The guy can’t cover him..
Considering that every game can’t be his best, Kolb is managing the game nicely. Kudos to Reid for keeping things close to the vest.
Reid’s play calling is keeping the defense off-balanced again.

I still find it difficult to believe that Reid has run the ball 52% of the time in the last two games. Could it be an impersonator? BTW, is Marty beginning to look like Reid?
