Former Eagle Reno Mahe Arrested For Stealing Gasoline

Former Eagles running back Reno Mahe can say what he wants to but he had to know that a company isn’t going to giving gasoline away for free. Years ago, I might have tried to give that excuse to my father, but he would have never bought it.

He turned himself in to the police and will now have to face a criminal theft charge in Utah.

The former backup Eagles running back along with four other guys were charged with stealing more than $15,000 in gasoline from A-Core Concrete Cutting, which is a Salt Lake City construction firm. An employee of the company allegedly gave his gas code to his friends and Reno was one them, and they filled their vehicles with gas consistently over a four-year period.

“I thought you were allowed to do it,” Mahe said. “I didn’t steal no gas. I don’t need gas. I’ll pay, if that’s the deal. . . . I’ll pay my portion back if he wasn’t allowed to give it to me. I’m not worried about that part. As a man, you pay back your debts.”

Deep down Mahe knew better. Since when did companies start giving away gas to people, especially folks that don’t even work for the company. The former versatile NFL running back made a mistake and now he’s paying for it.

Former “versatile” running back? I don’t think fair-catching punts constitutes as being versatile G.

RR, LMFBO! 😆
Remember when the Eagles carried over cap $$$ from 1 year 2 the next, & paid Reno like $5M to make it look like they were spending the cap. F^cking pathetic joke. He ran like he was carrying fat Andy on his back. That was a really sad, delusional time for Andy. Gold standard my sweaty crack. They better do what they said after the lockout. If you think I go nuts over Amaro, you ain’t seen s#!t, if the Birds lied or go on the cheap.

G:
No. He, like me, believed that he was taking it directly from the ground. Satan is sentenced to forge it into gasoline-from-Hell according to the book of Smith. All Utahpians believe this. Where’ve you been, G?

More rubbish being posted. But somehow Desean “Motor Mouth” Jackson failed to make gcobb.com. That’s the “media” for you.

It’s a double standard for the “Stars” of the Team Scorp..
No local media want to lose media access to D-JAx so they blew it off…
Personally it doesn’t matter to me but it’s funny how the media cower to our athletes..

DDCar: I don’t believe they actually paid him $5M that year. They paid him a minimum salary and put in a ridiculous bonus that was structured to count against the cap that year, but which he would never reach. It was an accounting trick that took advantage of the fact that unpaid bonuses give you extra cap space the following year.

Horatio your correct, it totaled $5M that he never got.

Yeah that’s funny Paulman especially when many of them went out of their way to criticize McNabb because no one liked his personality. But somehow, there’s a story about how McNabb should not have made a youtube vid when he’s not on our team but nothing about Jackson making national sports news. Just plain hypocrisy. And I’m with you. What he said wasn’t a big deal but just the fact the “media” play favorites is sickening to me.

Sounds like Reno would fit right in working for the City of Philadelphia!
