NFL Week 8 Picks

sprolesfolesDetroit @ Atlanta

The NFL’s ever growing London agenda just makes me sick. And now not only is an American city robbed of a home game, but their fans must now be ready to watch bright and early at 9:30 am on Sunday morning. At what point does the greed in this league come back and burn Goodell and these owners?

Pick: Detroit 24, Atlanta 14

Seattle @ Carolina

The top two defenses of 2013 have lost a great deal of their luster. The decline of the Panthers has been much more surprising, they literally cannot stop anyone right now. Seattle snaps their losing streak on the road.

Pick: Seattle 31, Carolina 20

Baltimore @ Cincinnati

The Bengals are in a tailspin, and crashing fast after a great start. Baltimore takes control of the North with a solid win.

Pick: Baltimore 24, Cincinnati 13

Miami @ Jacksonville

The Jaguars got their win. Now they come back down to earth against a Miami team that’s playing pretty well. Blake Bortles can’t keep winning turning the ball over multiple times a game.

Pick: Miami 27, Jacksonville 13

St. Louis @ Kansas City

The Rams are playing with some life and after their win over Seattle, they believe they have a chance to do something. I think they ride their momentum and upset the up-and-down Chiefs on the road.

Pick: St. Louis 26, Kansas City 23

Chicago @ New England

The Bears look like they’re on their way to a full-scale implosion, while the Patriots seem to have found their groove.

Pick: New England 24, Chicago 17

Buffalo @ New York Jets

Its time for the Jets to snap their six-game losing streak.

Pick: New York 24, Buffalo 20

Minnesota @ Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay, fresh off of the bye and playing at home, should be able to handle the struggling Teddy Bridgewater and the Vikings.

Pick: Tampa Bay 23, Minnesota 13

Houston @ Tennessee

The Texans snap their losing streak taking out a a very weak Titans team starting a rookie quarterback.

Pick: Houston 21, Tennessee 10

Philadelphia @ Arizona

The Eagles ride momentum off of the bye week, and pick up a win to keep pace with Dallas.

Pick: Philadelphia 27, Arizona 23

Oakland @ Cleveland

The Browns bounce back with a home win over the Raiders.

Pick: Cleveland 28, Oakland 16

Indianapolis @ Pittsburgh

The Steelers aren’t good enough to stand up to one of the stronger teams in the conference.

Pick: Indianapolis 31, Pittsburgh 23

Green Bay @ New Orleans

The Saints have been a major disappointment on both sides of the ball. Aaron Rodgers is red-hot, and this defense won’t do anything to slow him down.

Pick: Green Bay 38, New Orleans 28

Washington @ Dallas

The Cowboys get another win, knocking down what is clearly the worst team in the NFC East.

Pick: Dallas 33, Washington 17

I don’t get the London obsession either Denny? — The football I like is over forever. Soon NCAA football teams will average more points per game than their NCAA basketball teams. The Big 12 is a jock. Texas gets shut out and TCU puts up 82 points. 82 points in what was supposed to be the best Big 12 defense in Texas Tech. LOL– I remember a couple years ago the ESPN puppet head expert said if TCU, Louisville, or Boise State played in a real conference they wouldn’t even be a good team let alone be FBS bowl championship caliber. Can we now fire those ESPN puppet heads now.
