Thoughts From Eagles-Packers

ChipKelly1Packers Knock Eagles Down A Notch

The difference between a pretty good team and a truly elite one was made clear on Sunday, as the Green Bay Packers efficiently dismantled the Philadelphia Eagles.

Right away, Aaron Rodgers went out and proved that he and his elite wide receivers were going to be too much for the Eagles’ secondary to handle.

Rodgers hooked up with Jordy Nelson on the Packers’ opening drive for a 64-yard completion that would set the tone for the remainder of the game. Cary Williams and Bradley Fletcher were painfully outclassed by the likes of Nelson and Randall Cobb.

Rodgers was able to pick and choose whomever he wanted to go to throughout the day. Bradley Fletcher was burned for over 100 yards and two touchdowns in the first half alone.

Redzone failures once again came back to bite Eagles. They failed on both of their opportunities in the first half, and had to settle for 6 points on the board at the half instead of 14. That’s not what a good team does in a big game.

The Eagles had some faint hope left coming out of the half, but LeSean McCoy committed a back-breaking fumble that killed a drive in which the Eagles were moving the football and really put the game out of reach.

As the game went on, the Packers found more and more ways to assert their dominance. Whether it was through forcing Sanchez into turnovers in the second half, or establishing Eddie Lacy late in the game, Green Bay completely picked the Birds apart in every way possible.

Sanchez Regresses In Second Start

Mark Sanchez did not perform nearly as well in his second start as he did in his first performance.

The former Jet misfired on a number of throws, missing a handful of wide open receivers to leave some big plays on the field. There were balls thrown behind, too far in front, or just over the head and out of reach of the wide receivers.

Sanchez also committed four turnovers, playing a part on the botched exchange between himself and McCoy in the second half, and also tossed a pick six to Julius Peppers in the third quarter. He threw another pick and lost another fumble on a bad snap after the game was well out of hand.

The Eagles fell behind early, and were forced to lean on Sanchez to pull them out of this mess, and he wasn’t up to the challenge.

Quick Thoughts

Offense

  • The Eagles were slipping and sliding on the Green Bay field throughout the day. They weren’t ready to handle the conditions that this field presented them with.
  • Jordan Matthews continues to have the best rapport with Sanchez. He was the guy that Sanchez targeted most frequently, and scored the team’s first touchdown. Matthews had a 100-yard game for the second straight week.
  • What in the world is Chip Kelly doing running LeSean McCoy down 53-13 in the fourth quarter? Just saying.
  • No involvement for Zach Ertz once again until garbage time.
  • Brad Smith had an opportunity to score in garbage time, but let a pass from Sanchez bounce off of his fingers.
  • Jeremy Maclin was still able to register nine catches for 93 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

Defense

  • Vinny Curry had the team’s lone sack, and also forced a fumble on Aaron Rodgers.
  • Cary Williams led the team with seven tackles.
  • The Eagles defense did manage to do a decent job on Eddie Lacy when the game mattered.
  • Part of the secondary’s struggles can be attributed to the lack of a pass rush. The pass rush that had been so effective over the last month was nowhere to be found tonight.
  • Nate Allen noticeably missed several tackles and didn’t do much to help out in coverage. Its hard to believe that Earl Wolff could really be much worse.

Special Teams

  • At least Cody Parkey showed up. The rookie kicker drilled both of his attempts.

Final Thoughts

Upgrading the secondary has got to be the top priority for the Eagles next year.

Cary Williams, Bradley Fletcher, and Nate Allen all need to replaced. They’re good enough to get a team by if the pass rush is strong, but can’t match up with any talented receivers on their own.

Today’s game was a very sobering reminder that the Eagles are still a step behind some of the other teams in this league in a number of areas. From the secondary, to the quarterback position, there are some key areas on this team that are just question marks week to week.

Green Bay ran circles around the Eagles this week, and they didn’t even dip very far into their full stash of offensive weapons. Eddie Lacy and the running game weren’t really a factor until late in the second half, and their defense proved to be more than capable of slowing Chip Kelly’s high-scoring offense.

What’s most disturbing about this game is that the Eagles continue to struggle against quality opponents within the NFC. They’ve fallen in their matches against the winning teams (San Francisco, Arizona, Green Bay) and no NFC team that they’ve beaten all year has a record above .500.

Its great that you can outscore the Redskins at home, and run up the score against a flawed team like the Panthers. But those aren’t the teams that you’re going to see in January.

326 Pass yards, 2 TD’s, 80.6 passer rating….. not good enough! We need to draft a QB. I did not like the hanging of the head, the refusal to pick up yards with his feet. HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT!!! Rogers picked up 30 yards on his own two legs, and a truly elite QB in todays league needs to do it!!!!!
At least we know what we have……… SHIT!!!!

Ok….how about when this same Green Bay team got dominated my NOLA in New Orleans…or when San Fran lost to that same stl Team.

Green Bay in lambo is very tough and designed to beat this eagles D. We won’t face another passing attack like that for the rest of the year.

From the Super Bowl one week to the basement
The next, that’s life in the NFL
The Reality is that the Eagles Offense is not consistent enough
To Score TD’s ( 7 Pts) against Decent to Good Defenses
We seen this happen with San Fran, Arizona and Green Bay
The OL has taken a Step Back big time
The Red-Zone Play Calling & Execution
Has been horrible, we also see how poor the Eagles secondary & LB Play
can be when little pressure is applied

3 Things that Concern me the most moving forward
1) McCoy Running Scared as he has most of this Season
2) Pass-Protection – Blue Print us out and Defebses will
Blitz the shit out of Sanchez
3) Loss if D Ryans has put a huge good in the middle of the field and really exposes the Eagles Safety Play

Bottom Line if Eagles don’t fetuses addressed, they won’t even make
The Post-Season.. They have 4 Physical Games in a row coming up
And if they don’t go 2-2 , it’s all over for 2014z
For chances are, with 3 NFC Conference Losses already,
The Eagles will need to beat Cowboys a twice to finish ahead of then and Win the NFC East Crown, a wild-card spot finishing 2nd in the NFC East is very unlikely

Because there is NO ARGUMENT about the D.

Everyone agrees (I hope) that they are shit.

Everyone should have recognized that the ranking they had after rolling against the Carolinas of the world was pure illusion.

So what is to argue???????????????????????

But….

People are arguing about the QB.

Certain posters have spent the last 2 weeks trying to convince the world that Mark Sanchez….MARK SANCHEZ was somehow superior to a young, developing QB who had spent the past 2 years winning football games for the Eagles.

Because of this, we (people on the board) will continue to argue QB.

So when those FA pickups etc lead to a 7-3 record only the recent loss is a reflection of their total team play?

Stop it. Granted this fools in the black white QB war debate on here gets old but the flip flopping on what got this team to this point is not debatable.

I never flip flop Izzell, that’s Paulman’s job. I tell the truth, & brutal honesty ALWAYS! Some of you cats refuse to live in reality! My story has & never will change. Geniuses win National Championships, playoff games, & don’t get their doors blown off in games. Good run organizations, that really want to win & don’t care about the $$$$ don’t go into every season winning the salary cap bowl. I don’t kiss, nor lick the boots of front offices! I live in reality, with a perfectly functioning brain! I refuse to be mislead by the BS these front offices spew, when they clearly don’t know WTF they are doing. You don’t draft reaches & projects with picks in the 1st 3-4 rounds, especially when you have holes & dire needs elsewhere. You don’t act like you invented the game, & make moves based on your ego, rather than the proper moves that need to make your team better. Keep believing the false hype of a SB win, that these frauds are leading you to believe! The genius will be gone in a year, or 2, after he continues to be exposed as the fraud he is, & Weaselman, the glorified bean counter, should have never gotten the job. The boot licking lackies on here amaze me. They are what they are, a solid team, with a horrific secondary (AGAIN), a front 7 that can’t get to the QB without blitzing, no playmakers (AGAIN) on defense, shit play at QB, & another overrated, overhyped coach! Get a clue, PLEASE!

You desperate Foles fans are ridiculous…forget Foles…he’s out…no way he’s getting the big bucks in a contract and why should he comeback here as a lame duck and play without a long term contract!

Foles had his shot to win the job outright and be the long term QB….he failed miserably under the pressure and got hurt..

Kind of says it all IJ.

I listened to Ike Reese at lunchtime today, and he was of the opinion that they let Sanchez walk at the end of the year, have Foles play the last year of his contact and prove either he is the QB going forward or he is not. He probably thinks that they should draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round depending who is available. Personally, I would want to see how Sanchez does with his remaining games. I want to see him do well and the Eagles win. Regardless we are going to need more than one strong QB for Kelly’s system, because he has a history of needing more QB’s to get through a season, and if Sanchez can settle down and be consistent then he may be a good veteran backup. But to say that foles has failed miserably under pressure is a joke….written by a bigger joke.

Ike is right(even though he was a huge Geno Smith supporter and was on record saying the Eagles blew it…overreacting to Genos win vs ATL last year)

That was my outlook on the QB situation going into this year. See what you have in Foles and keep going foward. If you continue to win and dont shit the bed you can focus on other areas of the team. If he falls on his face you move foward in the draft or trade.

i read something that RG3 will have a gun to redskins heads in May– basically i think they have to sign him to a one year tender of 18.4 Million or get him on a long term contract… before anyone bites my head off this is a ‘sketch’ of what it is– but I know 18.4 was the number for one year.
There will be some real issues down there. Love the off season champs!

That is really all that you can do. After the year Foles had last year you would have hoped that he would play close to that level. From a wins and losses standpoint, I would say he is pretty close, but when you study his play and stats it is clear that he has regressed and needs to make some adjustments moving forward. I cannot say it enough, I could not care less who is the QB, but I want whomever it is to be a consistant and high level performer that can give Kelly everything he needs to run his offense full out. I would hope that the QB is on the roster, because that would only put us closer to winning a championship, but if not, we need to determine what the next move is and get there. For the sake of expediency, I hope that Foles or Sanchez are part of the solution.

But tell me what other NFC team you would be affraid of come playoff time? Seattle and San Fran have terrible offenses. And it looks like we would be facing either of those at the linc. We can beat Arizona there or home (we had thAt game won). Detroit looked awfully pedestrian today. That makes us contenders regardless of what happened today.

Seriously enough with the QB shit. He didn’t play great but of his four turnovers one was just as much on shady one was yet another bad snap and the last int was in complete garbage time when the team was done.

He can win games for us down the stretch. Then when Nick gets healthy we look at the body of work to see if we start nick in the playoffs or Sanchez.

Regardless we are picking a QB with our second or third pick next year.

First off…..The quarterback play had no baring in this loss.

The secondary lost this game which was over by halftime.

There were plays that Sanchez escaped from the rush that Foles would have gotten killed if he was in the game, and it wasn’t as if Foles was playing any better before his injury, so let’s not talk about the quarterback play with this particular loss here.

The game was not close enough for any quarterback to make a difference.

A quarterback’s job is easier when the special teams spot a 7 point advantage like they were earlier in the season.

Last night it was our special teams giving up 7.

Jordan Matthews dropped a key big play throw that would have got the Eagles back in the game.

That led to a punt.

Bradley Fletcher is a 3rd or 4th corner at best in this league and none of our corners outside of Boykins can run with Elite receivers.

Shady fumbled to kill another drive.

The defensive plan was flawed against this particular team on that particular night and it happened at the perfect time for this team.

Now, we find out how this Eagles team respond.

Foles is out so there’s no need to talk about his bum ass.

He would not have done better period.

This is a team loss and Chip better get it fixed for the stretch run.

GO EAGLES!!!!!!!

He threw a pass the at was dropped and what have cut the lead to a 2 score difference.

The quarterback can’t throw and catch on the same play buddy.

What Foles could have done with Rodgers scoring at will?

This is not the week to discuss quarterback play.

The game was over before the first half because the defense couldn’t stop anybody and the special teams giving up a punt return blew the doors off early.

“This is not the week to discuss quarterback play”, hypocrite, every week you discuss QB play. Foles threw two passes in the end zone that would have won games for us this year, one to Cooper, one to Mathews, cooper dropped his and Mathews came down out of bounds. You bitched about Foles. Sanchez threw to picks, one for a TD and fumbled, those turnovers lead to touchdowns and put our woefully struggling defense back on the field. If Foles was out there you would be ripping the shit out of him for his performance. Oh..and Sanchez’s arm is weaker than Foles. The fact is, yes, the whole team sucked including the coaches and was responsible for that disaster, however, you are a complete hypocrite. This isn’t the week to talk about the quarterback…what a joke you are to say that!

Please stop whining about Foles…the game was over when Sanchez had the turnovers…Foles kept teams in games with his turnovers, he was overthrowing wide open receivers, he was leading the lead in turnovers and you hypocrites want to ignore the horrific defense and the worst special teams game this year.
Foles has been supported and bailed out by good defense and excellent special teams…Sanchez didn’t get any help whatsoever in this game..If Foles had thrown for over 300 yards like Sanchez did in this game…you bums would still be supporting him….stop it…stop it!
Foles had his shot…he’s hurt, he’s out, and he does not deserve a long term contract. And he would be stupid to play for the Eagles next year without a long term contract….time to move on from Foles…trade him, cut him…he is not the answer at QB…

Lol. Thank you for that break from reality SongBreeze. Great way to start the day.

Team loss, yes. The QB play did not have anything to do with the loss, priceless. Suspend reality, we have a ‘Skins fanboy who wants to Troll the site again.

His play was not much different than last week, only his rust and mistakes were magnified against a good team in their home stadium. Failures to convert 3rd downs lead to more opportunities for Rogers, which lead to more points for the Packers.

Too much.

Yellafan, you are ridiculous…Sanchez played a good game last week..and this week the game was a blowout where the defense and special teams screwed up big time….Sanchez errors didn’t impact the outcome of the game…it was over at halftime before Sanchez had a single turnover…

39- 6 on the scoreboard when Shady McCoy and Mark Sanchez decided to show up after Green Bay took out the defensive starters. What a waste of 10 million on McCoy this year. Week 2 Washington’s David Amerson knocked out McCoy and stole his heart for the year. Shady for Sale, hey Washington DC shady for sale. He’ll only cost 12 million a year. Shady for sale !!!!
Mark Sanchez has BB gun arm, I didn’t really expect much from him. I was a little shocked last week when he didn’t turn the football over.

Of course when Fole’s Gold was playing, nothing was ever his fault. It was the defense, it was the offensive line, no running game, it was a myriad of excuses for garbage qb play. In the first half, Sanchez was 10-16 for 148 yards, plus he made a huge throw to Matthews on 3rd and long that was dropped. The bottom line is there were too many individual mistakes by too many different players to keep up with a team whose future Hall of Famer is playing at an unheard of level.

This was the donut game that Vinniethemoron was trying to claim happened in the home season opener. You play a team who’s great at home on a short week after a big Monday night win. Classic letdown. This same Packers team got smoked in New Orleans a couple weeks ago, that really showed how bad they were and how good the Saints were didn’t it?

Of course mistakes happen in the second half when you are down by a huge amount and start taking more risks cuz you have no choice but to score on every possession. The Foles slurpers want to make a big deal about mistakes that occurred when we had very little chance to win? But not Foles’ garbage play that almost cost us games against the likes of the Jags, and did cost us against the 49ers and Cardinals?

And the qb with potential is Sanchez. Not weak armed and slow-footed Foles, who was throwing ducks and wobblers in last year’s game in the Green Bay cold. We would have lost 53- 0 with him in.

OK, don’t worry about that GB game then- Six games left on schedule. Sanchez has to win 4 of the final 6 to make the playoffs and three of those teams are bottom ten NFL teams ( Tennessee, NYGiants & Washington ) and 2 of the other 3 games are at home. ( Dallas & Seattle). NO EXCUSES!!!!!

For all of Foles poor play and bad mechanics this year, he time after time brought the team back when they we down and faced a big deficit.

Was there any point in that game yesterday that you thought Sanchez would rally the team and start a comeback?

This team needs to win games. We need Sanchez to play well. He has 6 turnovers in 2 1/2 games, 2 returned for TD’s. He is having trouble with the snaps because he reportedly wants a softer snap ( Vick or Foles never seemed to have this much trouble with Kelce’s snaps). These are both areas that need to be cleaned up or we will be in further trouble.

I thought that Sanchez took 2 helmet to helmet hits in that first quarter of this game that should have been called. The way that the refs have called penalties for grazing the QB’s helmet with a finger, I think they should have been called.

That being said, there were very few areas or specific players that can say they played a good game for the Eagles. Maybe Parkey and JMATT. Giving up a first down when you have 3rd and 24 is inexcusable. Rogers and the Packers deserve credit, but the Birds need to learn all that they can from this disaster, and move forward quickly.

GO BIRDS !

Green…Foles was able to bring the team back in some past games, based on the defense getting stops…What defensive stops did the defense get yesterday?…The score was 24-3, quick! The special teams and defense struggled…Foles would not have fared much better if he came out an gave his normal performance from this season. Again, you are a cat that comes on here and act like that you aren’t biased…but you are exposed with every post by agenda.

But as stated, Sanchez is not the answer, never was! Eagles have won games this season, by playing solid on special teams and defense. Didn’t happen yesterday…and if it continues to happen it will be tough to get wins, regardless of the QB.

If you have actual read a single word I’ve written you would see that I want Sanchez to succeed. I want this team to do well. My comment was asking if there was ever a time that you felt Sanchez was going to be able to rally the team the way that Foles had done a number of times this year. In the Colts game against a Probowl QB on their home field he was able to bring the team back…against a shitty Jags team, comeback….against the SF 49ers he brought them back twice at the end of the game and was on the doorstep….against the Cardinals he left the field with the lead and less than 2 minutes after bringing them back. Look, I will be the first to admit that I hate the way that Foles has played this year. His mechanics and pocket presence, along with greater turnovers have me doubting him, but the one thing that he has done for the most part as Chip Kelly’s QB is to win, and to be able to rally this team to come back whatever the deficiet at whatever point in the game. I was asking if anyone had the feeling that Sanchez brought the same thing?

So like I said before, go fuck yourself RT. Now that is some REAL TALK !

You are do wrapped up in your love for Vick that your hate for the guy who replaced him has caused you to defend a QB who is not performing very well. I want Sanchez to do well. If he is better than Foles great, he is still pretty young and would work for the team. Competition can make the team stronger, but the sooner they determine who the future will be, the better for the team. I don’t care WHO it might be, I just want them to figure it out and get the team moving forward. The concern would be that neither are the one, and we would take that much longer to take the next step.

Sanchez has a better arm and better mobility. That’s why he has more potential. He was playing well in the first half, just not as well as Rodgers. I don’t expect him to outduel Rodgers. Nobody outduels him in Lambeau. The times Rodgers loses in Lambeau the opposing defense limits his production. He’s lost the last two playoff games in Lambeau when the opposing defense limits him. When the defense gives up score after score you have no chance to win. And I don’t care about the turnovers that happened after they already built a 4 score lead. With no offensive TOs. After halftime we had less than a 10% chance to win. When you have no choice but to score down 4 scores you can no longer play within yourself and stay on schedule offensively.

Disagree. Sanchez arm is not better, in accuracy or strength. He may have a quicker release, and has shifted in the pocket better than Foles, but at this point I would not place him above him base on these performances. Kelly stated after the Carolina game that the offense was inconsistent and did not sustain drives or converted well on 3rd downs. I doubt that he will have a changed mind after the Green Bay game.

We all know your hate for Foles. Well chronicalled. Your choice of a time to continue bashing him is way off. I want to see Sanchez do well, because it would likely mean that the team is winning, and that is the goal. But to fail to see that he is not playing well because you are blinded by hate tells me that the team means nothing, you troll to get a rise from actual fans of the team.

Your argument is that Foles loses games and keeps teams in games with his turn overs, did Sanchez not help lead to the destruction of the Eagles by turning the ball over? You have stated that Foles..not the Eagles..but Foles can’t win the big game, well yesterday was a big game and Sanchez could not keep us close. In fact, helped the other team score. Hypocrisy on your part. All of your ramblings about Foles has come back on you as Sanchez performance was the same thing you rail against Foles about. TURNOVERS!!! The Eagles were down 4 scores and the offense hadn’t committed any TOs before halftime. This was on the defense. You think the key to the game was the TO by Sanchez when we were already down 4 scores?

To beat Rodgers in Lambeau you have to limit his production. It’s the only realistic way. Turnovers on offense that happen already down four scores were not the key to the loss.

Sanchez’s play did nothing to help the Eagles keep close. I am simply applying the same criteria for Sanchez that has been applied to Foles. Over thrown balls, inaccurate outs …I can go on. Sanchez was 10-16 for 148 in the first half. Did you also want him to catch the ball Matthews dropped on 3rd down late in the first half? What standard are you applying? Sanchez plays offense. What he was responsible for, he did well in the first half.

We weren’t playing the garbage Jags. We didn’t have zero offensive points like against San Fran. We didn’t have a INT in the first half that took points off the board like in Arizona. We had a complete defensive meltdown. In none of those games did we have a defensive meltdown. What standards are you applying? Even with an 80 qb rating in this game, that’s higher than 4 or 5 games Foles played in.

EHl, If you were watching the game he did display it. Threw a strike to Mathews on a crucial 3rd down in the first half. Yeah I know, Sanchez was supposed to throw the ball to himself on that play.

Nobody was screwing up as much as Foles early this season. Not the normal amount of errors every qb makes, but repeated fuckups that were his fault. I wasn’t one to focus on any one statistic. Most of his numbers are in the toilet. Forget INTs. He was in the toilet in regards to pass yds/att, comp%, and qb rating. Foles’s criticism was well deserved.

Sanchez was garbage. Plain and simple. He beat up on a bad Panthers team and looked so/so to below average against Texans and GB.

He has 4ints in 3 games. Garbage time or not thats an unacceptable amount of turnovers in that short amount of games. We killed Foles for the same thing. Biggest difference ones has less than 2 years worth of starts. The other is just doing EXACTLY WHAT HIS STATS AND CAREER has been.

We can win with Sanchez. Just like we can win with Foles. Foles provides a better chance to win on his arm. While Sanchez has to use his feet and mobility.

Skayne, Nick Foles is not playing…due to injury, he is not the one leading the team right now. Lets stop deflecting with all of the excuses. When Sanchez had the ball, he could have extended drives, did he not over and underthrow receivers? Yes he did. Did he run or use his mobility to extend drives, because that was supposed to be his forte as opposed to Foles being a statue. Did he turn the ball over? Yes. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. To ask was he supposed to throw to himself, all QB’s miss receivers, however, he missed on key throws that could have extended drives and lead to points, turnovers killed that. Stop defending mediocre play. We know what and who Mark Sanchez is…no thank you. He is not that guy that can lead us in the big game.

What is this garbage about keeping Rodgers off the field? That’s the defenses job. How about getting off the field on 3rd and 24? How many 3rd and longs did Rodgers convert? I guess they should have put Sanchez at corner. You are blaming Sanchez right?

So when Tobin gets smoked off the line of scrimmage leading to a quick sack that was Sanchez’s fault right? When Jason Peters slipped coming out of his stance allowing Clay Matthews a free run at the qb that blew up the play, that was on Sanchez right? The offense could have played better in the first half, it was off on a few crucial plays. When the defense plays the worst game of the season and allows the Packers to build a four score lead, the game was over. What happened in GB hadn’t happened at all with Foles in.

It was a major wakeup call and was also the toughest game on the schedule. I think we can go 4-2 down the stretch to finish 11-5 and win the division.

Really good teams get blown out so let’s not get carried away with this loss people.

Having a Bad Game when it’s early in the Season is quite common… Having Poor Games coming down the Stretch on a National Stage is
another story and a example of just a Choke Job. The Eagles Coach Kelly & Players could not handle the Bright Lights and Expectations and never really did under Coach AR either..
They play much better when under the radar and have little expectations for Fans and Media.. When the Expectations and Hopes Rise, the Eagles always play tight and choke… We’ve seen this numerous since the major Super Bowl Choke Job versus the Raiders in 1980 and have never been able to shed that Choke Label
It’s a Philly Thing I guess…

This game was over before the first offensive snap.

GB got the ball 1st and quickey moved down the field….but….GB had first and goal and the D held the Pack to a FG. I thought that was a bit of a victory and felt good.

Kickoff and a nice return to the 35. Not bad….little jump there….and then…

Body language.

Just go back and look at the Sanchize standing in the shotgun before the first play. Hands stuffed in the pocket thing. Shoulders clouched. Head buried under the balaclave.

Hot tub boy had no interest in being out there in the snow. It was obvious. He looked defeated.

I mentioned it on here right at the time, Birds had no chance.

Later he started to do this hand clapping thing – undoubtedly under instructions from the coaches to raise the energy level but it was too late.

That shit is infectious. That shit can have a quick and devastating cascade effect on a team.

I could tell the Eagles O wasn’t going to do anything as they walked out on to the field before their first possession. So obvious.

He had that same problem in NY where they used to hire acting coaches to help him project better body language in tough situations. This was his first tough situation…on the road…in the snow and he wanted no part of it.

No chance..everybody ..needs get a grip ..we took our ass beating ,all facets starting with the coach wore no clothes…it’s good not bad to be humbled and brought down a few notches…everybody including me is so hungry to be relevant that week to week we are drinking the Kool aid…it’s a long way still down the road until we reach the playoffs …it’s in reality two game season as Dallas at Dallas and home in a 3 week span are the pivotal games that truly matter..and who’s to say Dallas doesn’t regress ,they’re one hit from Romo being in a walker …relax…If I told you were 7-3 ..you’d be more than satisfied …as injuries occurred to the two quarterbacks (one on defense ,one on offense) we had a pig with lipstick game vs Carolina and foolishly perceived that didn’t matter ..what I take out of the Green Bay game was …we were toyed with..embarrassed .rodgers smug puss ..and basically they stole our lunch $$ …nobody who understands football ,hasn’t seen these games 100 times ..why spread blame on sanchez …because he’s the quarterback…Kool songs and others can yap all they want ..we all watched the game…we also saw foles vs Washington…what you can do is witness leadership…all guys shit the bed at times ..it’s why they’re human …one shots the bed and sulks the other one picks his ass off the ground and keeps ballin…I see it ..you guys see it..and Pman you’re so into predicting the future …here’s my prediction..no power ranking week 12 means shit..so wish upon a falling star …

We all knew it when it happened, but Carolina was not able to expose it. Losing Ryan’s was a bigger loss than losing Foles. DeMeco was the heart and soul of a defense that was short on talent at key positions, but playing together as a unit. Billy Davis did not have the answers last night. Both our offenseve and defensive lines were outplayed at the point of attack. Bad night. Time to move on and forward, but we need a leader to step up on this defense.

1st Overall – DE J Clowney – Texans – Poor attitude per Texan’s Sources
2nd Overall – OL Greg Robinson – SL Rams – Looks lost at the NFL Level
5th Overall – OLB Khalil Mack – Raiders – Played inferior competition at University of Buffalo and it shows as he’s been no match versus NFL OL
8th Overall – CB Justin Gilbert – Browns – Unable to beat out Buster Skrine for a Starting Spot, is mostly playing as a 4th CB in Browns Defense

He made some strange comments after the game also saying the Birds were a better team than the Packers….I am all for confidence in your team and believing you are the best, but the timing and way that he mad his statements makes you wonder if he is slightly losing touch with reality. Bad time to state that you are better then a team after they beat you by 30+ points.

His Value will never be higher than this Post-Season
I Trade his Ass in a heartbeat for a 2nd Rounder and a 4th or even 5th Rounder in Return.. No RB in Kelly’s Scheme is Worth $10 Million Per Season for Kelly’s History with RB’s is that he likes running by Committee…. 1 for Pass-Receiving, 1 for tough Yards/Red-Zone , 1 for Blocking and then 1 to work the Edges

You know, I had heard that too. We all saw players slipping early in the game. They talked about it during the broadcast, and said that Lambeau field is one of 3 stadiums that have this turf, and that it is sometimes difficult for visiting teams to select the proper spikes. However, the Linc has the same surface (which always looks like it is getting torn up if you ask me) so this should not have been an issue. I think the field was slippery due to the cold and dampness, and not the actual grass. Either way, that is something that you need to test out in pre-game if possible.

Regardless of same Surface.. Playing in a Colder Climate like 20 Degree’s the Surface becomes more Slick than it does at the Linc… Poor Judgement by Chip Kelly and the Equipment Manager
Players should have went to deeper cleats after the 1st 2 Series when it was obvious to everyone that they didn’t have proper footwear on..

The Tennessee game as we all now know was a huge look ahead spot when the schedule came out…well that’s one positive that came out of this ass whupping…that won’t be the case …I fully expect the bandwagon to get weighed down after a beat down of the titans…the giants play the cowboys ..at the swamplands..we can only hope Romo is in the crosshairs…hoping the giants make this there Waterloo…things change in this league week to week …a few weeks ago we had Seattle as the emerging repeat star..then it was Denver ..elite …scary at home ..now it’s green bay …let’s all relax it’s week 17 that matters …all the window dressing will be torn down with the Xmas lights …and two NFC teams and two AFC teams will do battle to meet in the desert…PMANS power ranking aside ..the teams healthiest and on that proverbial roll …will emerge …Arizona lived to play on even with bad red zone turnovers by there back up QB…they are flawed …Detroit flawed…Dallas and the eagles are both admittedly short on the defensive side of the ball…green bay up until the mugging ,was susceptible against the run…they still are …I think the eagles off the bus wearing ice skates instead of cleats showed how far up there ass there heads were..this season is far from done….there is one thing taht matters amongst all the opinions 7-3 …Tennessee on deck…

Aside from the Eagles game, there was nothing but good news around the NFC East yesterday.

Washington is a complete mess that is certain to implode (if not happening already) RGIII is a disaster, but owner is going to keep shoving him down the coach’s throat. Said head coach wants no part of RGIII.

Team was allegedly split 2 weeks ago with several players wanting McCown to stay the starter (and how sad is that? Hoping for McCown!) RGIII barfing up the last 2 games will only exacerbate these issues.

This is fantastic. Head Coach will be fired after next season…if not this season.

Next coach is going to have3 to be another Snyder lapdog that will be forced to accept RGIII as the QB. No legit coach will accept that. Nor would any want RGIII at the helm….any new coach coming in will be terrible.

Eventually, they’re going to have to draft a new QB….though that won’t be till after next season….so there’s a team without a QB for the next 3 years.

What was it that TS was babbling on about earlier….about how the Skins were a threat? That team will continue to grovel around in the basement for a few more years at least.

In NY, they’ve got a 104 year old coach who’s gone after the year. So major overhaul there. Add in that Eli Manning is completely washed up and there’s another team that’s going to be struggling for a long time.

I’m kinda annoyed by the result yesterday. SF gifted that game to NYG and Eli just kept gifting it back….though the coaching staff did them no favours either. First and goal and they threw 3x….with a QB who already had 4 picks on the day? Inexcusable.

In Dallas, Romo’s back will be studied in medical journals for years to come. He’s being held together by some wires and duct tape. Add in Meddling Jerry, a moaning malcontent in Bryant….and a Whitten who’ll be playing with a walker next year and I can’t see them threatening the birds too much over the next few years….

When Foles was stinking up the field with turnovers, missed receivers, bad passes, blown opportunities our defense and special teams covered his ass….in this game we got outcoached and overwhelmed by the best QB in the league and the DEFENSE stunk.
You hypocrites should drop the agenda…Foles is done for the year…we are in the hunt for the playoffs and Sanchez is the guy we have to go with for this year. If you truly hate Sanchez that much….dont worry next year we will draft a QB…but forget Foles…its over for him…and if you tolerated a turnover machine in Foles dont bitch about Sanchez who is playing for the first time in a few years and still looks better than that bum azz Foles!
