Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy must celebrating tonight because he will be putting six additional paychecks of $578,125 per game in his pocket.  He got his 10-game suspension for the 2015 season reduced to four games.   Arbitrator Harold Henderson upheld the suspension which was issued by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, but he reduced it substantially.

This all started because of a domestic violence charge against Hardy, who was originally convicted of attacking his ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder in a bench trial.  After the verdict he decided to exercise his right to a jury trial and the charges were dismissed because Holder never showed up.

Regardless of the ruling Hardy’s character is definitely questionable, but his ability to get to the quarterback isn’t.  He will likely be a major addition to the Cowboys defense by coming off the corner and getting to the quarterback.

“We are looking forward to the start of the season and having Greg be a part of the team,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said.

Cowboys Jerry Jones played this beautifully by basically signing an All-Pro Talent to a Week by Week Contract with no Guaranteed $$$ or Bonus $$$ for Greg Hardy.. However long Hardy’s Suspension was going to be was not going to Cost the Cowboys a penny…

Jerry Jones #1 Job is to Win a Super Bowl and build the Best Roster he can with the Resources he has and he has done that this off season with the additions of questionable character guys like Greg Hardy, Drafting the falling Randy Gregory and signing into OT La’el Collins which all 3 are Potential Pro Bowl Talents and if they help the Cowboys win, then he’s done his job.
Jones obviously feels he has the Coaching Staff and Team Personnel in place to handle high-maintenance players (See Dez Bryant)

Jones also signed high character Players like RB D McFadden, Drafted Byron Jones with their 1st Round Pick and OT Chaz Green with their 3rd Round Pick
This Off-Season may have been the best in Jerry Jones Tenure as he’s going all in to win a SB over the next 2 Years while he has big bucks comitted to his QB Tony Romo..
