It’s official the Philadelphia 76ers have committed larceny against the Sacramento Kings.  In a trade that makes no sense at all for the Kings, the Sixers announced they have acquired  Nik Stauskas, Carl Landry and Jason Thompson.  The Kings get the rights to Arturas Gudaitis and Luka Mitrovic, who were both second-round selections in last month’s NBA draft.

Satsumas, who was the eight pick in the draft in 2014, may be a benefit to the Sixers because of his outside shooting.  Thompson is a local product, who grew up in Mt. Laurel and attended Rider.

The theft in the trade are the rights to swap first-round picks in 2016 and 2017 with the Kings. The Kings play in the tough Western Conference of the NBA, so those picks the Sixers will be able to acquire from them are likely to be prime selections.

I don’t know how Sam Hinkie pulled this off and I don’t know what he said to the Kings, but this is flat out stupid on the part of the Kings, but let me say Thanks to all the people of Sacramento, We hope to do business again with you in the future.  It’s too bad you don’t have a NFL football team.

It’s the same Foot HAC, it simply did not heal properly and Doctors will have to go back in and perform Surgery again meaning he will be lost for the 2015-2016 Season and very likely lose most of his Trade Value and will likely be relegated to back-up status to Okafor come 2016-2017 Season and beyond as he will now have miss significant time with a very limited background experience wise to begin with .. The High Risk-High Reward has turned into the High Risk, little production in return.. It happens.. I am sure glad that Hinkie Drafted Okafor for had a bad feeling about Joel Embiid ever since he was Drafted
It’s time to move on, get another Big next Draft to complement Okafor/Noel and get some Guards
On a side note Lakers Guard Russell looked so-so in his first game the other night Scoring 6 Pts, 5 Rebounds and 4 Assists with a couple Turnovers I Believe

So fraud drafting Embid did not work ? It was terrible? The guy can’t play… Makes Marcus smith look intelligent? Got more out of Danny Watkins…. Can’t have it both ways

Drafting Embiid was a risk-reward Pick and no, it does not appear that it will work out..it happens…
MCW was a solid Pick even though he was Traded already
Noel was Solid Pick as both Saric & Okafor were ,
We’ll have to see what happens come next Season and next Draft to really look back and say was this 3-4-5 Year Funk really worth it for the long run..

Very forgiving from the fraud man…. MCW was a horrible pick… Given the fact that you traded him…. And you traded him for an unknown really makes it a horrible pick. Embid us on the pines for at Least two years … Supporters of Sam or whatever it’s called can say all they want but 2.5 years of tanking has gotten us two decent big men

The Draft where MCW was Selected was very Weak..
Look at the Top 10-12 Selections? The Fact that the 76ers got another #1 pick for MCW in a better Draft Class was the right move to make…

Embiid is done! Gotta give Hinkie credit, he loses last years number 3 pick n replaces him with the number 8 pick for nothing, so it’s 8 n 11 instead of 3 n 11, can’t complain about that!

Question if last years 8 pick was something why would anybody trade him? So let’s see MCW was a failure, embid is a failure….saric averages 9 in Europe … Noel is nice but nothing special , Okafor looks good…. What the F about double tanking?

The number 8 pick was the guy we wanted at 10, the Kings brought in a new front office n wanted different people, happens all the time, saric was voted top player, oakafor is the real deal n Noele improved leaps n bounds, was a worse ft shooter than okafor, if they can improve one they can do the same to him, as for mcw? They thought they could improve his shot, couldn’t do it plus he acted like a bitch n wasn’t getting along with players especially Noele,. Trust the process!!!!!

Do note that Hornets Traded #9 Pick (Noah Vonleh) from last years Draft to the Portland Trail Blazers for Forward Nicolas Bartum before the Draft and then Selected Frank Kaminsky with their Top Pick this Draft
Sometimes Players are just not a fit what with Teams are doing in Terms ofRoster Management especially when a new Front Office regime is involved
Reports of questions about Vonlehs work ethic & commitment per Charlotte Local Media..

So what we are saying is that tanking got us what exactly? Son of Sam what do we have? MCW gone for a 15 (?) pick? Em bid hurt forever? Ok afore is a fine player and Noel seems decent…. So this is what 18 wins a season gets?

Even if Embid never plays a game for us the tanking has given us a potential star in Okafor (btw trading MCW was a major factor in getting Okafor since we probably wouldn’t have landed the 6-7 draft pick since we would have won a couple more games with him at the very least everyone forgets to take this into account), Noel (defensive beast right now and likely very good player in the future), Saric next year (by all accounts will be a solid player), Stauskas (very good shooter/hopefully a Korver type of player), 4 first rounders next year (Kings might actually land the number 1 overall if we don’t and we can take that shit too if we want), add Kings first rounder in 2 years (likely be another top 5 pick), got rid of all the horrible contracts we had and have millions in cap. And Im probably forgetting some more draft picks

Or we could have just kept the status quo and the MCWs of the world, win 30-40 games at most go for that 8th seed and get swept (unless we get lucky and the best player tears his leg up)

I don’t get you or people like you that shit on the Sixers for what they have done the past 2 years. They can only control what they can control with the lottery balls and the state the NBA is in. Its funny tho cause everyone that bitches about what the Sixers have done never gives a better plan of what they would have done instead. Who else would you have drafted in that lottery where they were picking…what free agents are you getting. The losing sucks but we were losing anyways for more than a decade. To me a starting line up of Ben simmons, Saric, Noel, Okafor alone sounds pretty fantastic going forward next year…Add a couple more first rounders and Staukas and some guys we have right now and maybe an above average free agent and Sixers will have one of the best situations going forward for the next 5-10 years.

But yea winning 18 games the past 2 years has only gotten us a hurt Embed MCW for the 15th pick overall, fine player in Okafor and “decent” Noel=Hello Im a fucking idiot

So there were no better players than MCW? Ok I accept that, then trade the pick for assets. They wanted a PG in Russel then go get him! I like okafor but they drafted two big men… You want Russell, you tanked for him well go get

I’m watching this 6er Laker game n this okafor is amazing, this kid is the real deal! I’m watching Russell n all I see is another Evan Tuner, no speed, no quickness where he’s blowing by guys, the Lakers are gonna totally regret passing on oakafor

The 76ers need some scorers. Jahlil Okafor continues to impress me with his foot work, passing ability, ability to score in the paint and draw fouls. I am seeing some improvement with his free throws, his defense is a work in progress, I really like what I am seeing in terms of getting up and down the court but, a lot more work continues to be needed.

D’Angelo Russell is a point guard, he had 14 points and 7 turnovers tonight in 32 minutes worth of action, those turnovers are not going to cut it. There is a lack of explosion to his game, I also noticed a lack of awareness as far as time left on the clock and where he stood on the floor as he stepped out of bounds with the ball in his hands one time causing a turnover. He will be good as time goes on as he becomes more seasoned , however, I don’t see where all the hype was justified, I don’t see anything special. For the record, I only watched him in 3 games at OSU, two of those games were bad, and one was ok.

I saw Ohio State about 10 Times last Season and overall I thought Russell
Was a good young Player/Guard but not a game changer and definitely not explosive enough with his first step to be an elite NBA Guard…
I do think at age 19 he will improve and get better but just end up being a solid, good NBA Guard but never an Elite Guard and not worthy of a Top #2 Pick of the Draft .. I am glad Okafor fell to #3 and the 76ers made to right decision to select him, and as I mentioned multiple times, Jalil Okafor was and is the most NBA Ready Prospect from the 2015 Draft with Orlando’s Mario Henzonja right behind him as far as contributing from Day 1 goes..

Emmanual Mudiay, is proving to be what I say he was the best player in this draft – including Okafor.

There was an opportunity to trade for him, however, because of what is going on with Embiid, they couldn’t trade Noel just yet, so they decided to wait on getting their permanent point guard for the future.

Now next year it is paramount to draft that point Guard – Which should be EC Matthews of Rhode Island – go check out his highlights – even Zilents agrees with me that he is a baller – He isn’t better than Mudiay, but He isn’t far behind in terms of potential.

I am one that thinks that Embiid will be fine, and once he gets on the court, Noel will be expendable, and we will get some sucker to take him off our hands…

and I also like EC Matthews out of Rhode Island for Next Draft

Whats your Thoughts on Point Guard’s Jamal Murray (Kentucky 6-5 2015lbs)
& Kris Dunn (Providence 6-4 2015lbs)

Sometimes Paul, you have to wait and see on these so called top high school prospects – especially the ones going to Kentucky, Duke, and Kansas – I just know, that neither can touch EC Matthews….

Not even in the same conversation Ciggy…’

Some players have it, and have always had it – some seem like they have it until they’re pressed on another level, and some are just overhyped, or their talents are taken for granted….

Mudiay has always had it, and like it or not like I said he is a better prospect than DeAngelo Russell – always has been….don’t have to wait and see, I already know it…

I believe it was JH and GmCliff that both said that Emmanuel Mudiay was a very good prospect

Now he’s showing out in summer league lol

Sixers couldn’t go wrong with either guy, Big Oak or Mudiay

But with the latest Embiid news, I’m happy we picked Oak…

Question is, do we tank again?!
