Will the Eagles be able to get to Kurt Warner force him to move? Will McNabb make plays with his legs?
The Eagles want to force Warner to move in the pocket. If he's allowed to stand in one spot and pass, he's capable of slicing a defense apart. If he's forced to move , he will throw interceptions and fumble.
The Eagles must treat Warner in much the same way they treated the Cowboys Tony Romo. These guys don't like pressure.
Warner really hates pressure in his face because he can't move. He's a "cigar store indian". If you make him move he'll crack and fall apart.
McNabb on the other hand, must make some plays with his legs. He made the play of the game against the Giants on a 3rd and 20. He was under pressure but ran through some arm tackles by Justin Tuck and Matthias Kiwanuka.
After breaking the tackles, he threw an accurate bullet to Jason Avant, who had time to get open because of the McNabb scramble.
How many quarterbacks in the NFL could have done that? Very few NFL quarterbacks are capable of making those types of plays.
I think McNabb's legs will make the difference today by buying time and making big plays downfield for the Birds. I would also like to see him take off and run when the opportunity presents itself.
