Villanova’s talented scoring guard Scottie Reynolds became the first AP All-American to not be drafted since the NBA-ABA merger in 1976.¬† I find it rather astonishing although I wasn’t optimistic about Reynolds’ NBA career.

The NCAA tournament committee is getting what they wanted. ¬†They’ve got Duke and a Cinderella team in the title game of this year’s tournament.
Here’s my first try at filling out the brackets.¬† I haven’t made up mind yet whether Temple will beat Wisconsin in the second round or not.
In the East bracket, Temple, along with West Virginia got a raw deal. The Atlantic-10 champion Owls deserved a three-seed or at least a four-seed.
Villanova has a great opportunity to go to the Final Four again this year.  it seems the NCAA selection committee wants Nova or Duke to make it.
There are no questions that the selection committeed looks a lot of factors that don’t have anything to do with how good each basketball team is right now as they make up their list of 65.
