Here’s my first try at filling out the brackets.¬† I haven’t made up mind yet whether Temple will beat Wisconsin in the second round or not.

In the East bracket, Temple, along with West Virginia got a raw deal. The Atlantic-10 champion Owls deserved a three-seed or at least a four-seed.

There are no questions that the selection committeed looks a lot of factors that don’t have anything to do with how good each basketball team is right now as they make up their list of 65.

Here we have another projected field of 64 and this one was put together by Eric Prisbell of the Washington Post.  He wasn’t as kind to our local teams as the previous projections.

In a little over 48 hours we will have our field of 65 but before then all we can do is guess.  Here’s a field of 65 which was put together by the Rivals.com division of Yahoo Sports.

This is the last weekend of basketball before the NCAA selection committee decided of it’s official field of 65 on Sunday evening.  Here’s a projected field of 65 prior to all the basketball being played.

Philly sports fans can be tough if you’re part of the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers or Flyers organizations but if you’re involved with college sports and your name isn’t Joe Paterno, you can relax because you get a free ride.

I think we’re headed for a special NCAA tournament in March with a top five Villanova team and a top 20 Temple squad. 

Is there a memo passed out here in Philadelphia that I didn’t get about cheering the colleges whether they win a championship or not, but killing the pro teams if they don’t?¬†
