The NCAA tournament committee is getting what they wanted. ¬†They’ve got Duke and a Cinderella team in the title game of this year’s tournament.I don’t think the committee had anything to do with Butler making it to the title game but they definitely have their fingerprints on the Blue Devils march to the finals.
I think this is a Duke team which is blossoming at the best of times.  They struggled during the season and could have easily been a two-seed and the team they destroyed last night, West Virginia, could have been a one-seed.
Right now they’re on top of their game and they are big, strong and as usual they’ve got some outstanding shooters. ¬†
Still it was a move of favoritism, when they were given the easiest path to the Final Four of all the number one seeds.  
Yet I have to give them credit, that they took advantage of the situation.
Now they look like the nation’s best team and I don’t see any way Butler can stop them. ¬†This is one of the best rebounding and defensive Duke teams that I’ve seen.
Last night, Jon Scheyer, Kyle Singler, and Nolan Smith played great.  Scheyer led the way with 23 points, Singler had 21 and Smith contributed 19.
I congratulate Butler with their appearance in the title game but they’ve got to shoot much better or they’re going to make things easy for the Blue Devils on Monday night.
I know they play great defense and it saved them last night, but it’s not going to keep the Duke sharpshooters and big men from going over the 60 point mark. ¬†They must again play great defense but their shooting stroke had better arrive before the game.
Gordon Heyward and his teammates must gather themselves and play the game of their lives in front of the nation on Monday night.
I don’t see it happening. ¬†I think Duke is going to win it all and capture their fourth National Championship.

Didn’t think it was possible for this site to get much shittier, but you did it! Congratulations! Now, instead of a bunch of poorly written articles (by Garry) about relevant topics, I get a bunch of poorly written articles (by Garry) that pertain to topics from 2 weeks ago. Always good when you need two to three clicks just to get to the new information.

I disagree completely G. First of all Duke beat the Pac 10 regular season champs in Cal. The Big Ten regular season champs in Purdue. A very good Baylor Team in Texas. And now the Big East Tourney Champs. How was it easy for them? And if WV should have been a 1 seed then they sure didn’t show it.
