Suns’ Jared Dudley Says LeBron Is Going To New York

Jared Dudley of the Phoenix Suns who is a good friend of Amare Stoudemire recently tweeted the following:

“Breaking News!!! My sources tell me Lebron will announce that he will be goin to the NY KNICKS tomorrow on ESPN.. This is serious.. WOW!!!!”

Going to New York is the only way that LeBron James can upstage what Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh did today by teaming up in Miami.  James will have Stoudemire at his side in New York to match Bosh and we all know that he always wanted to go to the Big Apple.

He and Stoudemire won’t be locks to win a championship in New York but he’ll immediately be the most talked about player in the league in the biggest city.

The guy has been walking around with the Yankees hat forever.  He wants to be the first billionaire player in the NBA and where better to make that attempt than in New York.

James has a spirit of entertainment flowing through his veins and going to New York would allow him to upstage every other star in the league because he’s in the media and commerce capital and winning a championship there would supercede Kobe in Los Angeles and Wade in Miami.

If he stays in Cleveland his show tomorrow will be a dud.¬† If he goes to Chicago he’ll have a great group of talented youngsters around him there he’ll have a chance to win championships immediately but it won’t be as big as signing with the Knicks.

King James will be able to sit on his throne in Madison Square Garden and that means a lot ot LeBron.

And remember, G., the Knicks have been preparing for LeBron’s free agency for about two years. They were getting killed in NY for planning two years ahead to have a chance to get this dude. Maybe that preparation paid off.

Lebron James should probably either sign in Miami for less money over a shorter period of time or stay in Cleveland. I really don’t see the Knicks with Stoudemire and James with who they have now as a better group of talent than what James has in Cleveland. Miami…now that’s a different story.

I think it’s the Knicks or he stays with the Cavs…
I have a hard time thinking of him playing with/Wade & Bosh in Miami on essentially Wade’s team…
He is his own man and it needs to be “his” team that he would want to play for I believe…
Then again, I have a hard time thinking in general… Him on the Knicks with Stoudamare in the big City, bright lights and tons of Marketing oportunities..I could definitely see him leaving Cleveland for this .. The Knicks still would need to get a pure outside shooter to balance out the floor
