DeSean, Herremans & Jaamal Go On The View For Bullied Youngster

DeSean Jackson along with his offensive line teammates Todd Herremans and Jamaal Jackson went on the ABC daytime talk show, The View and picked up the spirits of a youngster who had been bullied by his classmates.

Nadin Khoury is the young man and you might have heard about how he was savaged by a group of teenagers from Upper Darby High School.  They left him hanging on a fence after dragging him around and beating him up.

One of the teenagers videotaped the incident and they were arrested when police got a look at the footage.

The View talk show invited Nadin and his Mom onto the show after reading about it.  Then they contacted the Eagles and had DeSean, Todd and Jamaal come in to encourage the young fella.

The players invited the youngster to an Eagles game this season at the end of the show.

Finally a good story. I read this article about what happened to this kid on CNN and was disgusted. Good for DeSean, Jamaal, and Todd going on the show to support this kid.

Great story. The Birds can top this, though. How about if they send Antonio Dixon, Jamar Chaney and Quentin Mikell to pay a little visit on the bullies? Maybe 5 minutes in the interrogation room??

And everyone always criticizes DeSean for being “classless” in a GAME. This just shows that DeSean is a class act in real life, and the haters that are always badmouthing him are the classless ones.

sports bum, no need to take a shot at eagles fans who think he is overrated, acts like a punk, not a Philly guy, wearing the nationals cap, good for him, he helped someone out, big deal, I am sure on occasion he stops at stop signs too

This was very classy and something that Nadin will not forget. The look on his face when Jackson comes out says it all. Very good point Paulman about this message getting out to others. I wouldn’t be caught dead watching the view yet I have seen this video several times on Facebook, Yahoo, and Youtube. Hopefully many others will see this video and hear the story.

sportsbum, tydm has been pretty annoying with the same shit all the time recently. But he ain’t the enemy, he’s an Eagles fan who wants more running game, if you think that’s the enemy, how do you live with millions of people around us like that…

But seriously tydm, this whole thing about the original incident is that bullying and doing stupid little boy shit like that should be intolerable in our society. And then you go and allude to being gay, when sex of any kind couldn’t be more irrelevant at all. And your only reason was to be derogatory…

I’m not trying to be on some high horse, but isn’t the lesson behind this incident that we ALL, as a country, need to grow the f up? Bullying is all over the place, as is excessive ‘bullying behavior’, like having a figure of speech that regularly and casually puts down a whole huge portion of the human population…. you’re better than that sportsbum, we all are

jakedog,

I didn’t even mention Philly fans. I was talking about the people that love to bash Philly fans or members of our teams as being classless. Also, how is he overrated? He has 2 1000 yard seasons. And everyone knows that he is a deep threat. No one thinks that he is a WR that can make all the catches like a Andre Johnson. Everyone knows that he is just a deep threat, the best deep threat in this game, and that makes him one of the best WRs in the game, but I don’t think people think he is the best, and most don’t even think he is top 5.

As for the showboating……. Get over it. It is football. If it wasn’t for the rules enforced by the league, every player would be doing it, like they used to always do it in the past. Showing off is part of competitive sports. You think it doesn’t happen in other sports?
