Congratulations to RB McCoy and LT Peters for their outstanding Seasons..
These guys played great and were consistent throught out the Season, hopefully all the hard work and effort will spill over to some of the other players who need to raise their games a tad…

With Reid being a QB Guru, none of his QB’s were or are top notch quarterbacks.

If anything they made him.

Big E, at least TRY to make some sense. Which is it, the QBs were not that good or they were SO good that people gave Reid credit….?

Kudos to Lurie for not the Philadelphia Sports writers and their “Tweet Wit” readers destroy his team (again). I’ve seen it happen many time before. When Buddy Ryan made it clear that he was the Eagles coach and not the Philly Sports Media”, they hated on him and scapegoated the owner into firing him “Buddy never won a playoff game”, and made a misstatement in reference to “Oh that guy in France”, (the owner). Thus ending a great era in Philadelphia Football.
Ray Rhodes was overly influenced by the Philadelphia Media from his first day on the job. “Dumbowitch” and the boys convinced him to release Randall Cunningham (he was a “cancer” in the clubhouse they wrote). The Eagles the Eagles went 3-13. Randall broke scoring records with Vikings.

So thank you Jeffrey. Man-up against the media and run your team like you own it!

Schiller none of his quarterbacks are in the upper echelon but they were atheletic enough to make up for his poor offensive line coached by Juan and his poor play calling where every play seemed like a broken play. Aron Rodgers and Drew Breese ane head and shoulders above McNaab and Vick. Their coaches should be considered quarterback gerus. Andy Reid is overrated by the national media because he sucks up to them. His time with the Birds is now a waste of time. The national media gives Reid credit for Vick but Vick is not a superbowl type QB. He back slid this season and is stupid for his style of play.

Schiller I said he sucks up to the national media not the local media. That is why he is percieved differently on both levels dufus. It’s possible that you are one who is not aware of this fact. Snap out of your ignorant mode. Lourie said Reid was far from arrogant and only that way to protect his players. What a bullshitter he is along with your other piasons Howie and Joe who were all in.
Reid and Company are deceivers and money mongers.

Big E – you rlast comment may possible be the biggest lump of feces EVER pulled out of someones ass and then posted –

please – when was the last time Reid did ANYTHING for the national media he didn’t do for the plocal media –

you blatant attempt to somehow discredit the national media because they refuse to jump on the ‘All things Reid are bad’ Philly bandwagon is laughable –

Andy Reid sucks up tot he national media – you mean he says – I have to put the players in a better position to win – and thats on me – to them?

Just keep making shit up –

spoken like a fan 3000 miles away from the local media, taking up for his poster-mate schill….and before you say it, yes I am aware that there is a thing called the internet and that YOU are capable of reading local media stories.

Reid gives much more indepth interviews for the national media when they come to town. Countless local media writers have stated as such. There are local shows in philly that are not shown in Cali…live Daily News Live on comcast….you can hear the local writers discuss topics, and Reids relationship with the media.

You can try and shout down Big E if you want…but there is some validity to his point that you have called ” the biggest lump of feces EVER pulled out of someones ass and then posted”

**Rumor Mill**
COlts about to hire Eagles Director of PLayer Personnel Ryan Grigson who is 2nd in command under GM Roseman and has worked for the Eagles for 9 Years.. Grigson’s first hire (per reports) will be Eagles O/Coord Marty MOhrnewig to help stablilze the COlts Coaching Staff and groom 1st Overall Draft Pick QB A Luck.. A great opportunity for Grigson and Coach MM and bad news for the Eagles as they will scramble to find quality Coaches to work with lame duck duck AR… Keep your eyes & ears open for the EAgles Staff are going to start looking as the Eagles Organizational “Window of Opportunity” is closing fast and will need a complete redo next Off-Season from a new GM to HC to a new Staff…. I would not purchase Season’s Tickets for a while .. This team may struggle for the next 4-6 Seasons …
They had a good run but like most teams in Philly, just not quite good enough..

greenfan – you are just plan wrong and making shit up – give one example this season when Reid gave a more in depth intervoew or did anything different for anyone

spoken like a fan smack in the middle of the philly hater bubble, that instead of dealing with their fruistrations like a man, makes shit up and whines and complains – then immediately proclaims ‘victim’ status –

Reid hasn’t done SHIT for the national media – there is absolutely ZERO validity – a bunch or whiners sitting around listenining to a bunch of whiners becuase Reid does not give great interviews does not equal Reid is better to the national media.

so – I stand by waiting for that example of in depth interview – cause a fan 3000 miles away would need the national media to do that story right……

just keep making shit up

The downfall started 3 Off-Seasons ago when Coach Ar had no real succesion plan for JJ (who was sick for a while) Coach AR had very little to do with the Defense while JJ was the DC, and stuck in a unprepared, young Coach in McDermott and surrounded him with weak assistants like Segrest,Stewart, and others.. and then to compound the problem , he has a real chance to secure and correct his inaction from 3 years ago and made it worse by Hiring Castillo.. Coach Ar and th eFrton Office have no one to blame bu tthemselves to be honest for the poor lack of plannnng on how to replace JJ (just like they failed with Safety Dawkins , etc, etc…) and this in a nutshell is why this Organization is a sinking ship that will not attract the best and the brightest until both the GM and HC are removed

It’s true though Jake, this little 4 Game Win Streak at the end of Season will hide a lot of structural issues and problems within this Eagles Organization that have been going on behind the scenes between Banner & Reid and there is little doubt in my mind, that Joe Banner will be the only one left standing in the Eagles Front Office a year from now as they Clean House..
Maybe they should hire BIll Polian as a “Consultant” for this Year with the plans for him to fomualte a real game plan for 2012 and beyond for the post AR and Roseman Era… It would be a great hire and smart way to go which means it won’t likely happen…

This lump of feces you talk about would be eaten by Reid if he were hungry enough. Navy you are out of touch out there in Pelosi land. Reid is not arrogant and flipant with the national media because their opinion keeps him in good standing. He doesn’t give two turd balls about the locals just his immediate superiors. While I speak the Giants and Eli made a good showing against Atlanta while the Eagles are having a mutual admiration fest as to how wonderful they are and how good their stats were to justify their dismal record.

Pelosi is up North in the Bay ARea – I am down South where we have many fine ‘red’ reps – the part where a representative wants to split the ‘conservative’ south from the ‘progressive’ northern

out of touch how? no need to comment – just provide a link to the ‘national’ media story you are referring to – show me the story – the interview..
show me a single, simple example of how Reid sucks up to the national media so they favor him –

it hasn’t happened and no matter how you try and GCOBB shuffle it away –

your comment is still bullshit (and I wishered in lower case so I can’t get accused by princess green fan of shouting – he has sensitve ears)

2 big things out here right now (and 1 little) 1) what is going to happen to Vincent Jackson – AJ Smith the GM in notorious for playing uber-hard ball with FAs – so that is the big topic – Chargers (like the Eagles) think they are one or two pieces to the puzzle away –

2) chargers have option to leave stadium in 2012 – but plan on staying in SD next season – city finances will not support new football stadium – la wants a team.. hose are the big 2

the little is super star sophomore RB at SDSU is going pro – Ron Tillman – very ‘Marshall Faulk’ like

just checked the local SD news website and they have hired their LB coach – Pagano – quick blurb:

Pagano, who has coached Chargers linebackers since 2002, working under six different coordinators, will be the Chargers’ fourth defensive coordinator in five seasons

so to answer your question – no Del Rio

Why would someone as educated as squidboy claims, not be able to understand that it is quite common…maybe even human nature…for an individual to be extra accomodating to the national media, while less then forethcoming with the local guys? I don’t see where this is a collossal, heeping pile of feces? Really….who is whinning now…?

Just as discussed earlier when the Polians were dismissed in Indy, often there are two seperate perceptions of the job or competence level of an official, locally and nationally. In the NFL, much of the national opinions are formed by a relatively small group, ESPN, Fox Sports, NFL Networks and their analysists. They have relationships with the coaches and FO people, and in order to have access for any “breaking trades or news”, they need to maintain a favorable standing with that individual. Which would lead to relatively less hard-hitting questions on behalf of the national media, and a more freindly demeanor by the coach. I say in general, with the exception of maybe a Belechek …

I really question the reaction to the statement…is it really so out of the realm of possibility? Maybe there is a need for some porfessionally prescribed medication and counseling out on the West Coast, because the reactions are becoming over the top.

Reid and Company are deceivers and money mongers.

yet again you whiny littel troll – Just one example – just one story, just one headline, just one article –

we were discussin Reid – not the dude in Indy –

see someone of my high intelligence can 1) see what the issue was, 2) comment on the issue, 3) ask for some iota of proof and lastly 4) see when some dude with a nasty ‘I wanna be like him’ complex is hanging on my jock

again, just post a link, an article a quote, that shows Reid EVER did anything for the national media that he did not do for the local – if it is sooo common as princess greenfan describes, the statment should be sooo easy –

so you clearly ignored Big E and his comments becuase of your man crush on me – so you will notice sugar britches, that Big E is the one that actually used the term ‘bullshitter’
